D80 will help your photography more that the D70....the exposure and metering is so much more forgiving

I use some software called image recall.....as long as you can plug your phone into your pc and it recognises it as a drive it should work. I use for my cameras in work....it pulls stuff off of USB sticks over 2 years deleted.

regardless of what brand the lense is, always go for a fixed focal length i.e 10mm OR 20mm. Unless paying higher end prices on a zoom WA you will 9 times out of 10 get poor edge to edge sharpness and lots of Chromatic aberation.( purple hazing around the edges)
