G3 and G4

Hi

A friend of mine used some G3 to remove some scratches on my car (worked really well). I decided to buy some as it seemed good stuff but when it arrived I noticed I'd bought some G4 lol. Is this stuff stronger than G3? Is it safe to use by hand?

never heard of G4. ive used G3, G6 and G10.

G3 is a really rough compound used for mopping up paintwork after its had a wetflat.

G10 is a very very fine cutting compound, pretty much a polish. good to go over the G3 with G10.

i *think* the numbers go up in how fine they are.

could be wrong though.

can use any of them by hand, but for best results you should try get an electric polisher
