agreed, I use the rain x on all glass and mirors, build up the coats a few times and it will last ages. I hardly ever use my wipers, hence I dont have the horrid marks that wipers leave over time. I have always used autoglym in the past but thinking about the zymol stuff in the blue bottle...

im 21 182, would have had 4 years no claims but accident knocked it back down to one, with sp30 also, £1700 admiral. :sick: worth it though. adding family members brought it down too, but both older.

I have yet to see a car without swirls. Even ones in showrooms, never been used show them up under the lighting. I dont see how they can be avoided, there is always some contact between a sponge and the paint, a cloth and the paint, a fine speck of dust will create on swirl. I use a power...

take it they anr teasy tomfix then? on my right one there is a slight crack/split just to the left of the ball, hence when squirts another stream flys off in the left direction. Still most on the light tho.

has anyone actually been saved from a laser sourse with any detector? I mean everyone I know with points have got them via laser mobile traps. All the others are usually advertised and have big yellow boxes that are hard to miss, it seems laser is the hardest yet most important to protect...

mine did it too, its the same beep as if you have deactivated the ultrasonics but instead of 4 beeps you simply get three... also to deactivate the ultrasonics do you need to switch iginition right on so dash lights up and off twice or just to first position and back twice?

well the alarm went off when the door opened? is there some kind of alarm fitted then even if no ultrasonic sensors?

she standard renault alarms do the job and work off the original fob, they are £300, but get the dealer to do it for free if he said there was one, presuming it s a renault dealer you fgot the car from.

should fit straight in and work of the steering remote too, just make sure you get the sire which connects the unit to the stereo, its worth £80 and you cant do much without it.

thanks tom, well apparantly the sat nav stuff in my 182 is under the drivers seat so god knows..... ??? ive got pics of some clios with VDO dayton MS 5000 Navigation system part number 77 11 212 580, this has a remote control and is not in built as such. Hope Ive got the in built version!

so it has one box? and this is under the drivers seat? the screen in integrated into the dash with the controls in front of it, and it replaces the normal small orange screen, correct? Im picking it up in the morning is there an easy way to see if it has the lastest firmware and discs etc...

or arm sit very still for a min or 2, (until the RAID red led goes out) then wave you arms about and it should sound... test the bonnet and boot by locking with them open you should get a beep wanring you the syytem knows they are open.

ohhh right. I thought the cd rom unit in boot and "control box" was the same thing. The actual controls are just on top of the dash in front of the screen though, so what does the box do out of interest? is it the extra sensors, detecting speed and pitch etc so the sat nav still works in...

just had a call from dealer prepping my new 182. They say that cant fit the 6 disc changer under the drivers seat as the colour sat nav gubbins are there. So they aregoing to put it under passenger seat and remove the storage box which is there.After talking to some on here with the colour sat...
