If you are getting it from a renault dealor enquire about 0% apr finance from RFS thats how mine is getting paid for, saves alot and means you can still get it from a main dealor.
im still waiting for a reponse from renault UK on this one and Ill post it up here when (if) i get one. So there is a different manual you get with the car on top of the normal clio manual? and it states nothing about extra pressures! lol
it is a shame and I was gutted when mine was written off cat D, but because of this I now have a 182 on order that I wouldnt have been able to get, and my old car is back up and running too. Bless :-)
a 182 without cup extras will have silver alloys and normal 172 sized rear spolier and no front splitter. There are some pics on here somewhere of a 182 with no cup bits.
but here Ive uploaded it from my pc, cant remember whos it is on here (hope you dont mind me using it as an example whoever...
mine used to do this, just push the connector in under the passenger seat and it goes off. Try not to put anything under seats which will pull on the wires.
sorry to hear this also. Its an awful feeling aint it. I agree with what you say though the clio is awesome at protecting you. 35-0MPH in 0 seconds 2X airbags off and NO injuries walked away. Side impact seems just as secure from what you say.
all I can say is hope you trace these idiots...
lol Thought I was the only one like this!! I would never let anyone else do my car, inside or out. Id prefer to do it myself. When I have to take it into dealor I always make sure it is spotless (which it always is anyway) so they dont bother cleaning it.
Even though I have to do it again...
you will get a response, however its a bit hit and miss if you get someone on their end that know what they are on about.
Ive emailed them a few times in the past...
when you pay extra for the suspension pack you are supposed to get the newer stiffer sidewalls new tyres, are renault simply dishing normal tyres out and saying they are stiffer?????!
there are quite A few posts about faults on brand new 182s etc. Gets me worried before I even pick the car up, or it just the case of they are a minority and you just dont hear about the rest with no faults...
Hope so..
:(
Oh right, so there is not even a wheel well in the boot, just a flat floor? So couldnt put a spare in if you wanted to,
have you got a 172 cup Eddd hence, you can have a spare in place and you got the foam sleeve?
I think I will have to upgrade the breakdown cover from Renault AA the extra £50 to cover punctures etc, Renault used to give this for no extra cost but they have stopped.
worth thinking about for people buying a new renault. Does anyone know if it is £50 for the full 3 year warranty?
