    New Car - Honda Accord

I forgot to say it went in for it's MOT as my brother in law gets a free one through work and passed... ...once £441 worth of work had been done. The alignment needed doing, the bonnet cable snapped as the latch was seized, the o/s/f caliper was seized, new front pads were needed as a result...

    New Car - Honda Accord

Put the new grille on today, it's from an i-CDTi sport and is essentially the same as the Type S grille. I had to get one from a diesel though as there are a few differences involving the cooling system etc than mean bumpers & grille are slightly different. The plan long term is to save a bit...

    New Car - Honda Accord

I saw a Skunk2 Racing gear knob on eBay for cheap so I got it and whilst I was fitting it I sprayed the gear stick black as you could see the bare slightly rusty metal.

90's modifying scene, what were we thinking????

h Project Thunder, that ignited my love of the Lotus Carlton (Thunder was a 3000GSi but the body kit is a Lotus rep). It's a shame the lad that won it couldn't handle the power and stuffed it into a shop front about a week after getting the keys. They ended up doing a feature on it getting...

    New Car - Honda Accord

Many thanks, I think a small ducktail spoiler would finish the back off nicely like this. Then the wheels really need a refurb, MOT in a couple of months though so I'm concentrating on that for now.

It hasn't even got Lambo, Bentley or Maybach wheels, what a peasant!:smile:

    New Car - Honda Accord

*Update* I finally got around to something that was winding my OCD up, the pedal rubbers were as worn as you'd expect from a 10 year old car so I replaced them. They weren't cheap for 2 smallish bits of rubber either! Clutch was the worst and kept slipping off the pedal. Old vs new. Brake...

90's modifying scene, what were we thinking????

These abortions are mostly from the 00's, when I used to read Max Power as a kid in the mid 90's the cars very rarely had bodykits and 17" wheels were seen as insanely huge. It was mostly about engine swaps and ICE, the only bodykits were the insanely wide Reiger & Dimma kits. The bodykits...

Aluminium is highly flammable, that's what brought the Hindenburg down. It was lined with aluminium and a static charge ignited it which in turn ignited the hydrogen, nasty stuff if near flames.

Good spot, what's going on there they aren't standard? Makes me wonder if it's a replica now.

    Celica T-Sport 190

Fair enough, they're not to my taste but if you like them keep them. I wonder what you'll find when you remove them to refurb the headlamps?

Are you getting rid of those barry boy headlight eyebrow things too?

    Well... It's yellow!

I don't know why there is so much hate, I think they are quite cool little cars for the money and from what I've read they are not too bad to drive either.

That's almost perfect, needs the spoiler removing though. It's just for looks doesn't do anything other than create drag iirc.

    My New Golf

I'm just going on the fact that if you Google 'Bora estate' you get loads of standard looking cars with European plates, like the pic I posted on German plates. Probably right about the Golf being a stronger seller over here as they tend to like small saloons in Europe so the Jetta...

    My New Golf

I think the estate had a Bora front end in Europe and we got the Golf for some reason? I think the squarer front end works better with the estate shape.

I've always liked these with the Bora front end.

Got enough rear lights there?! :anguished: I'd have one of those 3 wheelers as a weekend toy if I were minted, proper cool little cars.

    New Car - Honda Accord

I decide to remove the Plastidip from the 'H' badge in the grille, I guess I didn't put on enough coats as was a bit of a bugger getting it off. I think it looks good, a bit more oem than with the black badge.
