Faceman is correct in what he says. Ive said the same on this site in the past. Meguiars is good stuff I use the clear coat gold class wax, it doesnt strip the paint unlike autoglym. Polishing shouldnt be needed on new cars.

off to halfords now to get some. how do u apply it to remove the bird mark, harshly or gently etc?

just use a towel and it protects paint. I used an ordinary eating knife to chop corners off new smoked ones. fitted perfect

what happened to ya other clio DD? i didnt think they increased the price for the 2 extra bits of equipment.

will any detector work with LIDAR cameras??

yeah I thought the same about it been infra red but it must be right. They are quite large vans have a picture of a camera on the side and at bottom says slow down. If I get a ticket then Im buying a detector! :-) nothing as of yet. Is it 2 weeks they have?

I got the £300 cat 1 renault alarm upgrade quote from my local renault dealor who fitted my renault cat 1 alarm to my clio. Thats the price I paid I presume you can get this at any renault dealor. Mine was from sunwin renault bradford

the renault guy who quoted £700 is in need of the sack! its £300 to have the cat 1 alarm renault fitted which runs off the original keyfob.

i find it hard to believe its a legal requirement for xenon lights. it doesnt make sense and im sure ive seen xenon lights on cars without washers.

got a quote for a 172 fully comp £4500+ for me 19 2 years no claims. with Budget.

Misting is quite normal on xenon units. H11 bulbs there are no aftermarket brighter ones available blue vision etc. Phillips stated to me that there are so few cars with this fitment that they dont do the upgrade set in this type. :-(
