    182_steve's FF 182 progress thread!

Cheers guys, i'm almost pleased it seems a VERY common issue! Something else to sort, but not something random no one has ever heard of!! Will be looking into getting this sorted asap, just trying to fit it in around work at the moment is the challenge!

    Heater stuck on full!

Yeah that makes sense, i'm wondering if it's more than just the resistor as wouldn't that just control the speed?

    Mossy's Cars

Great updates again, this really is coming on rather well! Nice result on the tyre as said above, can only imagine the frustration when you saw that!!

    Heater stuck on full!

No I don't think I can mate, on the drive home which was about 15 miles it was just full on with the heat, which at full blast made for a toasty drive back, had to have the windows down lol!

    182_steve's FF 182 progress thread!

Took the car to the local Renault today for it's MOT and i'm pleased to report it got a clean sheet with zero advisories, so i'm well chuffed with that! :grinning: When I said to the lady on the service desk not to wash or clean the car in any way, she even said "well I did wonder, it's...

Just taken my 182 to Renault for the MOT and was totally fine when I drove it there.......... got in it to drive home, the heater is stuck on full!? No matter what I do or press its stuck on so was like an oven driving back! Not saying it's anything they've done as was only an MOT, i'm more...

    My Inferno Story...

Sayings like this is how you know we are from Norfolk! That's why I have the Whiteline and factory top mounts on mine, road car only, but can see the appeal of the others. I just don't want mine too hard/crashy as will most likely never see the track with me

    BG 182

That's interesting about the yellow to black, bought my Whiteline from Ktec brand new only in July and they were yellow so who knows lol but maybe mine's old stock on the shelf!

Really like that  sounds like it will be the perfect all rounder for you, for me personally, I like the more sleeper look and the auto too.......... I've driven the S3 saloon at work but that was a 65 plate I think so not the same, but can see the appeal of these cars for sure

    andy_coops - Iceberg 172

Very interesting this! I'm really at a "cross roads" what to do with mine. Leave it as it is, do this, get a PMS, choices choices LOL! This looks a very good set up at what i'd imagine was a fraction of the cost of a PMS! Do you notice any rattles or vibrations with it mate? I don't want my car...

    mintno1's Ph1 172 & Ph2 172 Cup Progress Thread

Great stuff, I've seen the thread on this car before and thought then it looked a cracker, so it's nice to see it's being kept on the forum. With it being so original and clean looking in the photos, that's exactly the right thing to be doing here, keep the phase 1 minty clean and standard and...

    My Inferno Story...

That original gear gaiter looks lovely!! No wonder you wanted a new one lol........ BUT.......... this is so common isn't it with the weak tabs/clips, mine is no different, held down with gel tape though rather than epic glue like yours but still moves a little due to one of the clips being...
