Did you just take all the backing off and then apply it? Taking the backing off an inch at a time then stretching it upwards/downwards would be easier, No?
Sounds just like back luck, To be fair if id have spent 1200 id expect something to go wrong along the line, Get it working. Have a good drive in it and then decide.

Also wearing a coat in the car FTW, Takes ages for the car to heat up.
The bluevision sidelights are something like 3800K which is quite white, But still orange. You only notice its a tad orange when you compare them to the blue/white bulbs i used to have.
Osram nightbreakers and bluevision sidelights are a great combination imo.
Otherwise HIDs and LEDS. But...
^ Worth it imo, They wont break, Bright and look good.
Phillips bluevision are what im running with Osram Nightbreakers, They are quite white still a bit orange, Still a bulb but spread light better than the LEDS.
Ebay LED specials only last about 2 months then start flickering.

My ebay specials 1st set lasted a year at a push, Second set have started not cleaning that well leaving smears after 6 months.. Then the other day i forgot they where on while stuck to the window.
They went to clean and the arms came out of the wipers and broke them.. Back to standard and...
Sand it, Mask it, Paint it.. Should be less visible. Could use a bit of metal filler on there i think..
Wait till its warmer though..
Or use it as an opportunity for new alloys !

If i was looking for a 1.2 with mods this would be the perfect car for me, The price is pretty good imo. Paid £3600 for mine standard 2 years ago.

Osram Nightbreakers are quite good.
Ive heard some of the PIAA bulbs are great but havent tried any.
Phillips blue vision side light bulbs match upgraded bulbs quite well (more whiter instead of candle orange)
