Is it happening all the time? is must be somthing else other than the belt slipping? more like the tensioners then.. Or something else.
When the belt slips in the cold it used to do it on mine for about 20 seconds then stop.
Great updates !
More RS6's !
Ive got a picture in my head of a red RS6 or an estate on Merc alphards, But cant find the pic.. I dont know weather ive made it up or it exists?
Yeah the moisture and cold is probably making the aux belt squeel.
When its changed and re tenstioned it might solve it.
Could be the tensioners, Worth renewing.
Dont know if this is of any help, Ive had them book marked for ages:

I just use sheet paper, But if your looking for the discs.. At a guess i would say 3M are the best to search for, Have a look on there site...
I would get the Eezibleed kid, Its a pain in the ass to get a good air seal but works well once you have..
Ive got a guide in the guides section if it helps.
Was it a black sport covered in graphics? Think ive seen it driving about in Harlow, Well what i can vaguely remeber is a dark coloured sport in graphics.
I think the Autosmart tardis stuff is a bit stronger than AG tar remover?
Personally i would get some tardis, Put kitchen roll soaked in tardis over each of the tar patches, And leave it to dissolve it, Then work with a claybar after youve got as much as you can off to remove the residue...
I got charged £94 for the coil pack, £40 Diagnostics and £25 for half hours labour
I thought that was cheap at the time, Suppose it isnt to bad for garage work, But if id have know the problem i could have bought and fitted a new coilpack for £40 or less. Oh well lives and learns.
Yes sounds like the battery. Has your trip computer and clock been resetting itself lately? Sign that the battery is on the way out.
Someone will be able to reccomend a battery probably.
Ones from halfrauds are about £70 i think, You might as well fit it yourself otherwise they will charge...
Which is the best to go for? obviously people opinions will differ and whats payment like?
PM if anyone fancys please?
Also looking for an invite please.
