Dash inserts, Gear stick insert need to be painted imo to break it up a bit. Think the handbreak plastic is better as plastic too. But other than that looks mint !

Tidy example that, But i dont like the orange bits at all, Dont think it pulls it off well. A darker colour would work better imo.

I clean my foam filter in fairy liquid and hot water, Soak for ten mins. Wash inside out to make sure the dirt is washed out.. Dry in radiator if poss, I get impatient and use a hair dryer. Then re oil. Id try and use BMC oil if it exists. Edit: Too late :approve:

^ Ok so as long as the 2 bolts (top and bottom) are being undone: are undone the driveshaft shouldnt pop out? My top mounts undo easy but i havent checked the bottom 2 bolts. Sorry OP for threadjacking.. Suppose all these little questions will help some people though :)

Is it only the non sports that have the problem of the driveshaft popping out? Or all models?... A bit confused on this, Or is it just unfortunate if it does? Only tips ive gained is WD40, Check the front struts undo by hand before planning the job, Otherwise will need air gunning off and hand...

Nice purchase, A few choice mods and it will be a minter.

Id use task manager and watch the memory graph (if there is one on vista) whilst running a few programs, If its high upgrade ther ram. Although a fresh install might be better if its clogged up with programs / a virus. Although best of all upgrade the hardware completly if its not cutting...

Have you taken the pads out to see if there glazed or anything? Quick rub of the pads surface on a house brick if so. File of the edges of the pads if theyre too tight.. etc

Nice, Wheels are a bit big as said but good start. Simple mods like clear side indicators, silvervisions for the rear etc wouldnt go a miss, Then some colour coding and lowering will see it right.

Bell insurance, Went from £1151 with mods on my own policy mum named driver, To £950 with my nan also as a named driver and car in my name. Changing the name back to mum made it go up a £100. Then to £750 one payment when they said they would accept my 2 years ncb from direct line. Chuffed...

Making the car in my own name brought the insurance down by £100, I might phone up tomorrow and see if the insurance company cares though. Im interested the same as Jesus if paying the £25 means i can change the name and it wont count as a new owner?
