Ahh right that sounds lovely and simple then! Yeah they weren't the buyer so no need to haggle, just pay you what you wanted, then add another big fee and transportation costs. Wonder what the buyer ended up paying in total!! But that said, who cares, easy sale for you
Great thread and that was quite a road trip you made to get it!! But looks a great car and with the turbo conversion too, obviously well worth the trip. Keep up the updates :up:
Nothing more to add at the moment with the car hence the updates have been slow, just been enjoying driving the car on the days here and there I get the chance take it out for a blast/blow the dust off lol!
Yesterday (12th May) was my one year of ownership with the Clio however! Amazing to...
I'll second that! Looks a fantastic job, you'd never know it was there!! I know that's the point, but you know what I mean. The Nissan Silver looks good Mark, will look forward to another update on this
Oh and nicely done with the Tesco parking!
That looks a cracking job on that Mini traveller, doesn't surprise me it went to Japan at all, always seems to have been a huuuuuge market for them out there. Just a pain to ship i'd imagine, it's not like sending a CD!! That's a 1964 right? Would be very interested to see the before pics now!
Yeah I know what you mean with Renault haha when I first got my Clio I think I knew more about it than the parts guy at my local main dealer. And I knew almost nothing!!! But I was surprised (and also pleased) they could supply me with a 'renault' 'sport' and 'clio' so just wondered about the...
Great work going to those lengths to get one sorted, have you got two new ones on the car, one either side, so they match?
Also, genuine question, are there no originals floating about on eBay etc you could get? New old stock I mean
As said, nicely done here. It's the little details that make...
Looks a great example that and with some nice little mods creeping onto that 'done' list :up:
Absolutely gutting about the Cat-C tho!! But at least you know the car and the work done etc
Those new ducts look superb Mark, you do make some nice touches to the car it has to be said :up:
I can see what you mean about the mesh gap but wouldn't bother me either tbh, I just really like the riveted then painted look on these new ones
That does look very smart, I too went with the original badges on the back so high five, i'm not alone LOL!
Mine was totally debadged when I got mine so needed new 'Renault' 'Sport' AND 'Clio' badges...... that I got from Renault. £90 🙈
I bought a brand new set of those AP's for my old Puma'd Zetec-S Fiesta........... different car I know, but for the money I thought they were great and you could really throw that car around Snetterton when I did track days. Good choice!
This car looks very smart btw
