I find it hard to keep clean, But im not a fan of other colours other than silver.
And even when dirty most summer evenings it looks fantastic.
Polished once a month and washed once week in summer... every 3 weeks in winter.
I was thinking this, However leaving the original eaths in place, And just adding a second earth and split it between the 2 originals.
However the problem only happens when wet. And its not that annoying, Just thought id try and rectify it.
I went down to 1500 grit by hand, Had to resort to Autosol to try a get the shine back (didnt think i was going to) but about an hour 15 mins with autosol then the rest with Scratch X and SRP.
Came back ok, But only since using my rotary and polishes have i got a good finish to them, And they...
Yep, you could buy some sport xenons and retro fit them to your 1.2. Youl have to fork out a small fortune for them at Renault or be lucky and get some cheap off a member or ebay.
A HID kit is also an option for good lighting, But without the diffusers i think they are illegal. Some still have...
If this ever becomes intergrated on most chargable gadgets it will be epic.
i.e. "touchmat ready"
Id buy the mat if i could charge my: ipod, phone, camera etc easily.
Dont think any of the actual fogs are lighting up, Had a check. Just a common fault i think.
Im going to give the earth another clean tomorrow and also the contacts. See what happens.
You mean on the dual fillament bulb? Theres only one dual fillament for the brake light isnt there?
Yeah i will have another crack at cleaning them tomorrow.

Im not too sure what bulb it is anymore. Think its w5w.
Taking off the dash guide is in "Fubar" guides in the guides section.
Did a search and thought the solution was to clean the rear light clubsters of any rust.
All connectors clean as a whistle, But sanded bulb bottoms lightly and cleaned the prongs.
This hasnt solved the problem.
Ive also read the earth can be bad? Where can i find this please?
Or is there...
Ive had the whole hinge out, The metal part seemed ok to me.
Its the 2 plastic barrels that roll the strap in and out that where jamming.
Ive just been out and opening and closing the door it didnt do it, So im hoping the grease has worked its magic !
My door hinge clicks loudly when opening and closing.
Did a search and read about loose bolts etc. Took the door card off and could see inside when i opened the door the 2 plastic barrels wernt moving when the joint was then clicking round with force at the end making the noise.
Removed it...
Masking tape and red tint spray i think mate.
Cars too much black and silver for me.
Id colour code, Put the new idea lights on, loose the petrol cap chequers and maybe keep the roof chequers, like that and a bit of lowering to tie it all in.
Theres character.. But way too much of it...
Dont think you can get rear aero wiper can you for the clio?
I got a valeo type one off a member off here, But it doesnt follow the curve so i get a bit missing at the top when wiping !
I thought i needed a spark plug change after missfiring, hesitation in 1st and reverse. And when footing it to the floor in high gears having hesitiation and no power.
Turned out to be coil pack.
Dont they sieze the car, like they have. And not give it back untill its prooven its insured and legal. Having to pay holding charges as well as daily charges ?
Like said get some good speakers all round and amp them.
Ditch the 6x9s if you can. Ive got 6x9s, But nor can i afford to, Or be bothered to ditch them. They do the job for me :)
Touch up paint with a very fine artists brush, Layer it untill its just brimming over the scratch. Will take a few applications with drying time, Then id leave it a few days to cure.. Sand down with 2500 grit.
And ideally machine polish it back with some good polish and hope its not that...
