Sorry to disappoint but I dont actually have new seats, just that since sitting in all the cars at the NEC my seats feel a bit cack now, sooooo, has anyone fitted new ones?? Would love to see some pics as seriously thinking about buying some Cobras and having them trimmed to match..... Cheers...

Think in Fabric theyre about £250 each? They Black/grey might even not need trimming, plus you could sell you "old" 172 seats here with ease.... Paddy

Not a VR6..........but my mate has a G60, thing is breaking down on a daily basis now, always stupis stuff eg batt, alternator, Im not convinced by the "legendary" VW build quality........ Think VR6 is a totally different machine though....? Paddy

Can someone confirm, or not, that this calibration thing is right? Only if it is its damn useful to know innit!! Paddy

Rhys, your right. I had to go to Renault today to book my car in for a minor warranty job, and (how weird is this) a complete goon just walked up to me as I was TRYING to drive in and asked me what I wanted??!!! what the???? Is he a mechanic? No. Does he know anything about my 172? Doubt it...
