Yes, layering will add to the protection and gloss. The QD will give some extra gloss too.

Depends what you are planning TBH mate and paint colour etc. I'd avoid rotary though for your first machine polisher.

Yeah. You seal the newly polished paintwork to protect it and give the wax something to bond to. Using a glaze is optional.

Mates rates anywhere from free to about £80 I'd say. For most hobbyists the prices seem to range from £80-100. Worth the money IMHO.

I've only read good things about it when an inch of the stuff is mixed with warm water and the nozzle turned back a bit. The pictures I've seen have shown a really thick foam too. Other one that gets good reviews is Bilt Hamber Auto Foam. Both about the same price.

EGP is alright that's about as good a review of it that I can give. It's horrid to remove, doesn't give any good gloss to the paint and isn't durable. EX-P is a much, much better product. Or CG Blitz, from what JD and Ali have said, but I've not used it. Duragloss #902 (or #901 if just want...

Yeah I have only just got it, along with someone elses,...f**k knows what's gone wrong there. I looked at that one on i4d, looks like a goodun especially for the price. But rotary still scares me lol, so I'll just go for a DAS-6 and play it safe for a bit.
