Re: Trax and a piss up 5th/6th September
Whilst I'm waiting for Dan to decide whether I'm allowed to post or not...hotels. Anyone got any suggestions?
Last year I stayed at Express by Holiday Inn Northampton M1, J15. It's only £42 a night, with breakfast, for the 5th ATM. 10 miles(ish) from...
The one asking you to let me know when everyone was leaving the CS stand for the parade lap lol. It was ok though, I just made a mad dash down the pit wall, to my car and then pushed in behind n0rm...ooer when I spotted Dan's old LY rolling out.
I didn't even know you'd turned up, but then I did spend most of the day trackside. Wanted to meet you and check out your work. :(
And then you ignored my text and this made me cry. Like this .
AG products are ok, if you're on a budget. But there is far better out there for not a lot more cash IMHO.
Meg Wax and T-Cut though...SRSLY? :nono:
My personal favourite polish is Clearkote Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze (stupid name TBQFH) and wax wise I'm using Victoria Collectors but other...
Two torx in each arch, one bolt hidden under the arch lining on each side. Two bolts under the car to the tray. "Some" (because I can't remember how many) torx along the bottom of the bumper. Two large torx under the grille. Couple of posi drives/torx on the top of the black plastic bit...
Re: Trax and a piss up 5th/6th September
Hmmm I'm a possibility, already kind of going and kind of not. I'll make my mind up at some point. Is CS going to have a stand? If so the forms will need to be completed quickly to hit the deadline...although that said I've been sent the pack twice...
bookatrack didn't (or shouldn't) of had any photographers out on the track or show ground. Photos will be up on http://robmcdougall.net/ at some point soon.
WOAH calm down with the exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!! :rasp:
Like said the car looks a lot better due to the paint correction, but IMHO there's not a great amount of gloss, depth or warmth to the paint and the choice of products could be better.
People will think I'm bumming them but I just...
Then sit back and enjoy the swirl marks PMSL.
I've got mine with two layers of wax on already, hopefully have a third down on Saturday morning. Then I'll roll down there, wash and QD it in the hotel car park whilst getting pissed. There it will stay till the morning when I roll down to the...
£250?! No offence to you or the lad that did it, but I see nothing out of the world amazing about the end result, yes it looks a s**t load better but if I'm honest I've seen similar, if not better, results by Jamie and Ali TBQFH.
I've only read good things about it when an inch of the stuff is mixed with warm water and the nozzle turned back a bit. The pictures I've seen have shown a really thick foam too.
Other one that gets good reviews is Bilt Hamber Auto Foam. Both about the same price.
Yeah I've got a LOAD of stickers here too lol. Matt I'll put a note on the order next time...although I am still waiting on my special delivery instructions :( lol.
I've got a load of stuff I'm after too, it never ends!
EGP is alright that's about as good a review of it that I can give. It's horrid to remove, doesn't give any good gloss to the paint and isn't durable.
EX-P is a much, much better product. Or CG Blitz, from what JD and Ali have said, but I've not used it.
Duragloss #902 (or #901 if just want...
Yeah I have only just got it, along with someone elses,...f**k knows what's gone wrong there.
I looked at that one on i4d, looks like a goodun especially for the price. But rotary still scares me lol, so I'll just go for a DAS-6 and play it safe for a bit.
