So got invited to a PH meet and it was absolutly brilliant! awesome cars (63 turned up) and epic roads! some very good exciting driving to go with it aswell. was great to compare the car with other performance cars on the roads ..The clio did very well, i must say ;) 100% going to attend...

BTW... They are the coilovers off my old 172. I remember when I had it, that there was play in the steering.. I was told that this was due to the coilovers.. This correct? (can't remember it happening before they were fitted) Tbh, that was the only issue I had with them at the time.. Along...

I mean it's just usual wear n tear. Worn Shims etc.. Will the price vary dependind what actually needs doing, or is it a set price and all suspect bits simply replaced? Will try n contact some traders. PSJ.

I can get a cheap set of H&R coilovers but would need sent back to re-build as they've had planty of hard use. How much does this usually cost to do? I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth doing.. Or just splashing out on some new V-maxx coilovers instead. Thanks, PSJ.

I think everycar is different. Since having a BMC CDA setup and now having the JMS setup my car is 100% a little bit quicker with better torque lower down. Not sure over std setup mind. Bought my 182 with the BMC CDA on. PSJ.

Nice write up :) some good comments. Never driven an ST... But iv neve had any issues with gearbox. My 182's gearbox has never let me down, feels new. my old 172's gear box was abit slack.. Think it's all how to they've been driven And serviced/looked after through there life tbf. PSJ.
