I don't believe that's correct. They won't be willing to cover his car, as it's not in the state his insurer believed it would be, but the third party element is still covered. Can you imagine otherwise? A bloke drives along in a ford mondeo with one tyre that's 1/4 of a mm past the wear marker...

This. Plus is the spacer in the correct way on both sides? I.e did you ensure you’ve built both up equally? Did you check how the springs were housed in the strut caps (both top and bottom)? I’ve seen it before where a strut cap had a smaller ‘dent’ that was idea and the spring didn’t want to...

It sounds almost definitely suspension related. Are the springs seated correctly? It basically sounds as if something isn’t sat properly, but it’s tight enough, and then you hit something and it moves and wobbles like mad until it sits back in its ‘tight enough’ position.

I know the roundabout well, car looks good. A word of advice. These cars are so common now there’s no point in having things fixed, just replace them with used items from other cars on here!

Get a new front seat from someone on here, I don’t know if it’ll be easier just to buy a second hand airbag computer, or if that’s even possible... Goes to show smoking takes away more concentration than you may realise!

I’d be looking to get sport headlights and fog lights too. Improves the front end a lot! I’ve always had a soft spot for the little 8v’s after one being my first car.
