Sorry m8. I meant b4 it was like it is now but not standard. Had a blat up a massive hill. He had 2 passengers and I had 1. Foot down at about 70 and we came past then I hit the wall (not literally) up the hill (120)so he came past very slowly. Slowed at the top of the hill then again at 80...
I love the R32...tbh looks wise I prefer the mk4 but the mk5 is growing on me. I know that my Cup is quicker than one to over a 100 (was b4 and will defo be now) but it is a similar thing to the V6 clio...more to it than just speed. Maybe in the future I'll get on but not for a fast thrilling...
I would also love to spend masses of money on my Cup but it is very quick for the minimal mods I have (not even bothering with cams) and I would rather spend the cash on trackdays.
Mods to mine
182 manifold (got for free and fitted for £70!)
Powerflow exhaust and cat removed (£262)
Polished...
very nice car...owner is a bit of an ass tho ;)
Think you should give the coilovers to someone who will get more use out of them...maybe someone with a track only cup? ;)

Cheers guys. The wheels are just std Turinis sprayed with (iirc) BMW Pearl black. Was't sure how the badges would come out either but was pleased with the result

This is a common thing I think. Mine used to do it and I took it to renault a few times b4 it was sorted. Can't remember what it was now. I ended up turning the interior sensors off. I think you have to turn the ignition on then off then on then off again...when you lock it it should bleep...
Never actually played Forza online but I loved the modding part. I don't go into rediculas levels of tuning like altering camberetc but just main stuff. I had a corrado on v nice wheels..on its ass and had a 500bhp (iirc) R32 turbo in it. Me and a m8 had loads of fun comparing turned cars like...
I must admit I didn't like mine either. I didn't realise how clunky it was until I had a 1.2 courtesy car. I could change gear sooooo much quicker on the std one...hence I removed it sharpish!

My Cup was written off recently as a cat d....03 reg with 60k on the clocks. I got 7k from the insurance and bought it back for 2k.....for a car probably worth 5k to start with. As Ian said it isn't what you pay now but how much it is going to worth in the future
Chris
Yep with those mods you should notice a difference but unfortunatly it won't be that high...I'd say high 180's low 190's....will still shift tho!

Lol @ this old chestnut popping up again. It is all how you drive as has been said...black ice was mentioned but iirc abs would be no good in that situation either. As for the traction control again it is mostly down to the driver. Do you have a switch for a pedal or have to ability to move your...
I was waiting for the PS3 but in the end opted for the 360...and I'm glad I did....I'll probably have had the 360 for nearly 12 months by the time the ps3 comes out and, although the recent builds of games looks very good I haven't really seen anything that the 360 couldn't do...
Chris
Fair doos...although I don't think on any of those I got the jump...especially on the 3rd gear run...simple rhythm with the horn is quite easy to get. Only a bit of fun after all lol
Chris
Cheers guys
Obviously Jons is going to be faster but I would hardly say easily until higher up. 1st gear slight roll and at approx *15 it is about 1 car ahead so I was pleased with mine...maybe I need cams? ;)
