Lost me now :S. Thought these triggered off the shutter/hotshoe, which then transmitted the RF to the receiver, which then triggered the flashgun.
Wow that's impressive. I really should read POTN more lol.
Ordered mine...could be in for a wait though :(
Still frees, free :D. Thanks
I'm insured with E&L which incorporates trips abroad for up to 30 days a year, but you can extend that to 90 days for increased premium. Depending on your gear and if you shoot for profit you're probably only looking around £50 per year. Can't confess to know what they are like regarding...
Some nice shots and some lovely colours. Were the first 5 or so manually focused btw? Just seems a bit fuzzy, or it could be my eyes.
Personally I'd of preferred to have the focus on your girlfriend/wife/sister/Mum/friend/that girl in with a shallow DoF so that the drift wood and background...
+1
Dunno about anywhere else but I had mine cleaned by Calumet, cost about £35 if I remember rightly. But like AndyRS said you can try and blow it out with a rocket blower first to see if that saves you a trip and some cash.
Not up to half the kits on here but it has to do until I win the lotto lol.
Canon 300D with 18-55mm kit lens
Sigma 70-300mm APO DG
Canon 28-105mm
Canon 50mm 1.8 mkII
Canon 580EX speedlite and Sto-fen Omni Bounce
Tiffen Circular Polarizing filter
Manfrotto 785B Tripod
Calumet Monopod
LowePro...
I'd personally opt for the non IS with a 1.4x and a decent Monopod. Save some pennies.
Have you been down to Calumet in Manchester? It's not the cheapest place but they have a s**t load of knowledge and seem to stock everything, which they are happy to let you have a play with. Best to try...
If I don't need it that weekend, although the 27th rings a bell for me, then ok. On the you break/scratch/get wet you bought terms.
Remind me closer to the time and I'll let you know if I've got something on.
Depends on your budget. If you have the money then I'd say the Canon 70-200mm F4L with a 1.4x as it's an uber lens. But if, like me, your budget is more restrictive then I'd highly recommend the Sigma 70-300mm APO DG. It's nice and sharp but not the fastest focusing lens in the world.
If you...
Fantastic for me. Even when my first lens got lost somewhere between Hong Kong and the UK I only had to wait about a month till they resent a replacement free of charge.
After much review reading, asking and some more reading I opted for the Sigma 70-300 DG APO. It's not the fastest lens in the world but that's probably my only grumble for the money. The Canon's all seem to get slated for lack of clarity and poor build quality. I got mine from OneStop...
Hiya,
When driving along in my heap and turning right there is a lovely grinding/rumbling noise and vibration. Only does it turning right and will do it even in netural whilst turning even very slightly.
I thought bearing on n/s/f but checked for play with it jacked at 12/6 and 3/9 and it's...
Alas I've not seen one of my pictures from the weekend and I spent about six hours trackside. Don't think they will of been made available before the closing date. :(
But Rockingham isn't the best for track pictures, made even worse when it's blowing a gale!
Head down to J&R in Brooklyn, near the city hall...just ask a copper for directions, there will be enough of them down there lol. Dirt cheap, loads of stock and it's over a block long lol. Be warned though the staff are about as knowledgeable and helpful as a wet fart.
Or B&H on the corner...
I just said out loud how much I liked the bonnet :o.
What sort of timescale are you working on to have it completed by? Guessing FCS is out the window?
I've used one stop and they were awesome. They lost the first lens I order in the post and after about a month of waiting "to see if it arrives" they finally sent out the replacement free of charge. Oddly enough that was for the lens you are after.
Re: Milles had a wash :)
Worst.
Pictures.
Evar.
Please tell me you've got someone big and strong to tighten the wheel nuts for you before you drive off...
If I remember rightly you'll need to convert the PSD file to a PNG (to keep the transparency) as the batch process won't work with a PSD file.
I've got to re make my batch files tonight, as I've just formatted and like a mong forgot to f**king back them up, so if I remember/get chance/someone...
