It'll be for pricing purposes I'd have thought...helps them keep the list price at a level that makes the alternatives seem outrageously expensive instead of just a bit more expensive.
EATC has been an option from the outset, auto-wipers/lights is a recent addition though, 'Comfort Pack' I think. There was also added a 'Convenience Pack' which I think adds folding mirrors, keyless entry and parking sensors.
So you can spec it up to a similar level as a Clio 200, but apart...
I don't have cruise control, I don't have auto lights/wipers, I don't have keyless entry all of which I had on my standard 200.
I'm just curious as to what my ST carries that makes it gadget laden compared to my/most 200s?
DAB radio?
How misleading and dishonest is that?!?
It says for that money you'll get a 45bhp gain...because they're saying as standard it has 180bhp. LOL at spending that much money to get an unwarranted 25bhp when less almost exactly half gets you 15bhp with an intact warranty.
How old is the car?
They perish with age so the intervals for replacement are specified as both mileage and age.
It's a 182. It's over 5 years old.
i'd get it changed without delay or risk an expensive failure if you're happy with that risk.
If he had something a lot more powerful (or even only slightly more) there were many many times he'd have had to brake, down-shift, and set the car up for a corner entry...something a lot of the time he simply did not need to bother with in the AX. Then there would be balancing the car through...
The lower edge of the 'mesh' grille has a smooth recess element to it for plate mounting...the grille would likely look a little odd if that were left and the plate mounted on the coloured bumper only.
A post-Mountune economy run into work in mine this morning saw an indicated average mpg of 49.8 over 26 miles.
It doesn't seemed to have harmed its ability to float along on a whiff of fuel at all!
I think they look great, I was going to buy one, I was ready to buy one, yet despite the order books being formally open my local dealer did not want to know (even after an intervention from Jeremy Townsend)...hence the ST. Option prices announced at launch turned out to be pure fiction. The...
Bluetooth's good but I believe many have issues getting track names to display.
I have a 180gb iPod Classic pretty much permanently hooked up so no such issues for me. Voice control of everything is a beautiful thing too.
Got to grips with the stereo yet? It's simplicity in the extreme IMO.
Anyone who claims otherwise has either clearly not used one for any length of time, or, they're an idiot.
Surely a call to Clive the PCSO would get him to have a word? If nothing's forthcoming then surely the Police could do something about it? Or at the very least, the threat of them being involved further might get whoever it was to bung you £100 or something.
Your engine cover was not missing. It shouldn't be there. The pursuit of lightness meant genuine 172 Cups were devoid of this pointless trinket.
Great work though!
Absolutely, marketing at it's best making it appeal less 'hot'.
What confuses me is why the insurers don't see it and rate it as a 180PS warm hatch. Over on STOC the 17 year olds are queuing up to take delivery...they appear to be quite insurable at that age.
It has pace on a par with...
