As far as remaps go it's nothing worth shouting about...+30nm (+22lbsft) and +15PS peak gains. Throughout the higher rev-range the gain is more like 20bhp though...makes the top end come alive apparently. My engine made torque of 225lbsft when at SRR in August so if I see the +22lbsft...

I use a piece of scrap 5mm ply...it dopes give a little but it still holds the car securely and stops any impression on the tarmac beneath.

I like roll; it gives you a far greater tangible sense of the weight transfer and overall balance which is what you want if you're trying to improve your skills. Also means that if you do get it all wrong, you're likely to get earlier warning signs and greater progression as it lets go.

Pretty much exactly what the video concluded. Day to day, the ST is as fun to drive as the M3...and given USD22k, either would deliver to a keen driver.

It's about the 'fun-on-the-road' factor for a comparable (US) price. On that basis it's six of one and half a dozen of the other.
