I rounded the bolt that holds the rear seats in the other day and used a stilsons to gradually wind it out
or what about hacksawing a deep grove on the end, i got them beefy screwdrivers with a nut on top, attach a socket and wrench try winding it out

Hi guys, its very rare i post in this section but im trying to 'get into' detailing.
last thread i posted was that i was going to paint correct my mk1 RS, got recommended scholl s17 and used a 3m yellow pad, got great results amd was very happy for my first go.
over the winter it accumulated...

Some small updates, i finally got around to fitting the rear discs and pads after a trusty coating of VHT paint
But strangely the rear caliper bolts had seized in and started to round even though i had them out a few months prior.

theres a brand new pump on mine but that shouldnt make that much of a difference
Usually when doing a brake test, one wheel is moving and others are stationary, usually throws up an ABS/ESP fault, but should clear after you drive it up the road
I havent at the moment bud, the two i had sold quickly lol
they are the same in all models, not just sport specific so maybe cheaper buying a poverty spec rear bench and taking them out of that

Had the flexi and downpipe on a while but havent updated.
a little comparision of old and new
got it all on once, but as i rushed it i completely forgot about the O ring between turbo and downpipe lol
had to slacken the V band clamp off (again) bit of a pig but its in and...

As far as i know, there arent many cases of heads going, unless your chargecooler pump isnt working and the engine takes in silly heated charged air.
but right at the back would say heater matrix hoses, thermostat housings are also easy to crack and leak, but you would have spotted that...
these turned up today, 3" BCS flexi and decat, hoping the gaskets will arrive tomorrow, may see if i can get it on before the rugby lol
