You've Got two options either remove the wheels and push them out.
Or you can try and pick them out with a sharp knife or something Like that.
Personally I think it better to do the first option as theirs less chance of damaging the wheel or centre cap.
Removing front fogs and arch linners is another one I've done as its a kg maybe :o plus it helps cool the brakes and tyres on track days.
Their quite abit of plastic under the bumpers that can come out too but i personally Would leave it in though just incase I had a crash.
Yeah I saw he built chris dark's I'm reading his project thread now.
Apparently is a relatively easy conversion, but their doesn't seem to be any people doing it...
Hopefully their be some people along soon who have done it to shed some light on it.
It's quite common to See clios that have had the battery replaced for a bigger one than it should be. So its up to you really do you want to buy a smaller battery to fix this?
Has the car got a aftermarket exhaust system fitted? This is usally the cause of the booming noise on motorways...
So then chap this is something that a lot of us love the idea of and I dont recall a thread on this so what required to make it work?
I've heard that the drive train is the same on these and that the engine and gearbox from a 225/230 will fit straight in on the original engine mounts, is this...
Fuel rail guard - weighs fcuk all so I wouldn't just in case u have a front end crash.
Sound deadening - yea it does way a lot but if you remove that your going to here all the stones flicking up etc. Not nice for a daily.
Strength bars/plates in door, bonnet etc. - like jack said you don't...
When you say best trader, are you looking for someone to fit the new system? If that's the case it Would depend where abouts you are.
Btm have a new exhaust coming out soon, that's worth a look.
Ktr have a range of different exhausts all of high quality so their worth a shout aswell.
I Would be more concerned about the quality of spacers if i was you as their is a couple crap sets floating about ebay. Try and stick to a good brands like H&R's or ebaich.
Also the rear usally need less spacing compared to the front. It depends what your going for though I suppose. The normal...
It's easy just un screw it and either clamp the brake hose or hold it up, plug a cap in, anything to stop the fluid pissing out. Then once you've sprayed the caliper screw the hose back in, tighten it up. Then undo the bleed nipple, apply a little pressure at the brake peddal, this will help...
R1-R are suppose to be a good tyre in the wet plus they stand up quite well in the dry (idea for the days when you keep getting light showers and the slicks can't be used)
v12's and rainsports also get good review for wet driving.
I personally wouldn't want to use t1-r's if I could help it.
Removing the parts will always give you a better finish. It just a case of can you be bothered and are you confident enough in your ability to remove and refit brakes (they really are a piece of piss to do)
