Yes I have had that and posted here, the answer was to turn the key until the electrics lights come on then wait for the coil light to go off...then and only then start the car otherwise you will occasionaly suffer from stalling and stuttering

I noticed that when I was looking for a clio about a month ago. It was a silver 1.2 dynamique 2002 so its not a new feature on the 2003s My Black 1.2 dynamique 2002 still has the lock though :(

Just been reading previous threads and yeah it does sound like it needs the ECU update. But others say just wait for the light to go out before starting, which ill have a go at later. Havent noticed the coil light though, will have to pay more attention :D Cheers peeps, put my mind at rest
