Ive bought a replacement tailgate for my clio,
Managed to unattach everything apart from the wiring loom which is causing me a load of hassle.
Would i need to remove the headlining to get to the connector and unplug it? Is this hard to do?

am after a new bootlid for my mk2 but would have to pick it up. Would it fit in my car or would i need a van? Going to measure it up tomorrow to find out but if anyone has picked up one before and knows if it slots in okay that would be great to know :)

Well few things done since then
Car passed its mot this week :) , raised the car up a bit on the front to increase the preload on the spring when the car is up in the air and got the tracking done too.
New balljoint
New backbox
New front discs...
the bolts attaching my lower gearbox mount (dogbone) mount were loose on my car which is identical to yours and sorted out the shaking and shudders in 1st gear, and the selection issues. I just nipped them up and its been fine ever since. Was easy to get to with the car jacked up :)
nice colour :approve: id keep the exhaust, the alloys aren't that bad, seen worse. Id keep the project cheap. Maybe just straighten the exhaust somehow on its mounts as it looks a bit wonky. Get some 40mm springs and put them on standard shockers, spray the side strips yourself, dewiper the rear...
Hey, wondered if anyone had dealt with raceland before.
My n/s strut has developed a knocking noise and the damper shaft moves side to side inside the body where the oil or gas is held. Im after a replacement. Can I buy these seperate? Would I covered by some warranty as I bought these in March...

All ive done this month is a 1000 miles, cleaned with some cheap ass wilko car wash £2.50 for 5 litres FTW, heater control got broken and i cleaned up the front number plate,trimming it down ever so slightly! Still wish i never bought a green coloured clio though...
