pull the connector off the back with the changer running, (trying to work) and then it will come up with 'connection error' or similar, then pop the plug back on, and then hit eject pretty quickly, worked for me

my resistor pack went, but my fans wouldnt blow at all, i got a reconditioned resistor pack off ebay for £30 delivered, and can be fitted yourself easily in under 10 minutes as its two bolts :)
