Well, now you two have put your handbags down.
Both lower arms and new lollipop bushes fitted this weekend, maybe in two weeks or so I'll have the roof off and hopefully get the old motor running and sealed up. Shouldn't be too bad of a job, especially with a few hands on deck.
As for selling...
I ordered one off of Amazon, supposed to be £100 apparently, was down to 15, not too impressed with the colours on it, but it works faultlessly.
Mrs seemed happy enough (her phone), and I managed not to break anything
Well yesterday was interesting.
One bolt on the lower arm was an utter nightmare, the rest were rusted and difficult.
Both lower arms replaced and no more knocking at all, good result, but I really do ache today :o going soft clearly.
Going to tackle the roof in coming weeks, see if I can get...
You're all a massive bunch of spamming bell pieces.
You never had it on topic, you never even had a point!
You're lucky that 100 string of spam posts didn't blow the ban hammer into all of your faces.
Now me and my mad moderating buttons are going to have to rip apart this thread and...
I know exactly what you chaps mean, for me, z4 vs z4m, it'll always be z4, well for a fair while anyway.
The running costs between two quite similar cars is massively different and I personally don't think the extra power and looks of the //M are worth it (for me).
If I did 4k a year or...
Well I thought I'd been doing OK with the drains but obvs not, it's dead. Dead as a f**king dead thing.
I'll strip the roof out and clean the motor up, there's no way it's proper f**ked as it's worked for ages faultlessly. It doesn't even look too difficult to remove, I'm just not in the...
Well, it's been a bad week for the z4, like, very bad.
First, I failed my MOT on a bottom balljoint, not bad eh? Well, on the zed, that means whole lower arm, if you replace the arm, you'd be mad to not replace the "lollipop" bush it sits in. Then, being a suspension component, I should...
You remember the bit in the rules, where it says "If you don't have anything nice to say..."?
Yeah. That bit.
Oh, and it's moderator's you want to address, not the admin.
Re: My new car. TTQS
I'd think long and hard about 453's, 452's were a great tyre, but the 453's that have replaced them are getting mixed reviews.
Phone colshe, I'm sure he'll have a space saver off of some audi for you. (Sorry Dan).
Puncture not repairable?
I saw you fly past me on the m25 on Sunday Steve, I was going to give chase but you went off down the a2 and I was heading to Sevenoaks.
Car would be great if it had a proper race spec cage, but then again it's a bit pretty for racing.
Doesn't look too shabby at all, interior looks very well now with the new wheel. But, if those photos are with a dslr you need shooting.
Even without a tripod (I f**king hope you didn't have a tripod) just grab something out of the car, or rest the camera on anything to take a picture with a...
As nice as your massively generic post is, you seem to have failed to elaborate as to why none of these "operating guidelines" have been adhered to on the OP's car...
