I was going to say, doesn't aluminium have very fast heat changing properties. i.e sure, it'll heat up, but it'll cool down just as fast, it doesn't retain heat. Get moving, it'll cool down silly fast with the cool air blowing through. I'd love to have something meaty knocked up for the zed, but...
I'm going to go against the grain here and say I don't actually mind the term. There's plenty of people out there who have no need for a practical car, if I'd taken my new job I'd have been one of them.
Personally I'd have bought a TVR, but I could have bought a Clio, removed the back seats...
If it goes sideways in the dry the tyres are rubbish! My 2.2 3 series couldn't do sideways if you paid it. We were in a car park trying repeatedly at one point and no joy.

Aggree'd. Unless the mileage is silly constant (like 4 miles a day every day), having sat around for that long at some point will have resulted in a lot of knackard rubbers.
That being said, if you bought it, spent £750 tidying it up, then you'd have a silly mint, silly low mileage exclusive...
