Some more of my old cars.

Love the old pics Daniel, and I love how you're so retarded you couldn't just lay them on a table and take a picture of the whole picture, rather than 40% your jeans :rasp: Jesus f**k at the state of the first one, and then I proper LOL'd at young Ginger you looking all upset and s**t.

    My TT QS

Re: My new car. TTQS That looks mint now. Very nice wheel indeed.

Restoring capsicum red clio from shiny pink?

LOL! I was going to say, but I just couldn't be bothered.

    Turbo reconditioners

    Ignore that.

    Product testers wanted!

I think I'd be abusing my powers if I deleted all of the replies but 19 and my own? :o

    Product testers wanted!

I'd be willing to give it a go on the zed, it needs winter protection, it's not had any wax since I have it a quick blast of blue velvet in July. As for skill level, quite firmly amateur :o

Another £500 Bargain PB Clio 172

Nice work! Nice to see more people doing it themselves, you're fairly local, handy with spanners and we've never met. How weird.

    What lens ~ £150? Canon.

Yeah I get ya, it's just, if I bought that over a 10-20 I can't help but think I'd be bored of the "style" of picture it produces, the 10-20 seems to have a little more versatility?
  9. Rob

    What lens ~ £150? Canon.

Full manual though? Am I correct in saying it can take both fisheye and normal photos?

    2 Clio's 1 Cup Genuine p**n.

There was me thinking we'd see some pretty pictures. Let down TBH :rasp: Nice cars all the same.

    What lens ~ £150? Canon.

I'd love a 10-20, was looking last night, then I got depressed when I saw the price.

Bad Tuning & work shop work

Right, what's said it said. Let's keep this KTEC.

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

That first shot Ant, it's a real shame that the REN is out of focus, you went a little too shallow there for me bro! It's a nice shot all the same!

Bad Tuning & work shop work

I agree with you Chip, but I don't want to start a slanging match in here about other companies. In the interest of full disclosure then, Danny at 519 automotive re-sells KTEC components. This may include the map, although he does now do in house mapping.

Bad Tuning & work shop work

Right, this thread is about work carried out by KTEC, let's not go towards their resellers etc as this isn't the purpose of this thread. Thanks.

    Good TV for £3-400?

That's a bloody lovely place, I can't wait to sort out mine next year.

Bad Tuning & work shop work

Kyle, I assure you, a genuine thread about bad workmanship, as long as it doesn't turn into an 80 page slanging match will not be locked.

Restoring capsicum red clio from shiny pink?

Doesn't say it's a ph1 bender. You're right though, the lacquer could be clouding or hazing or whatever the technical term is, but if the paint has faded under the lacquer, you're pretty much stuck with it, right?
  19. Rob

Restoring capsicum red clio from shiny pink?

Not much really, it's not like an old vauxhall corsa where it can be polished back to life, it'll be the colour faded under the clearcoat, and iirc there's not much you can do about that.

We all know things were different back then Nick, I hope things are little less biased now days, back then it was all mates, mates rates, and blokes with a halfords socket set proclaiming to be god.

Bad Tuning & work shop work

This would 100% not be the case. Not with me moderating anyway. A random KTEC slagging off thread: Yes that probably will be removed, but a genuine experience should never be removed from the forums. One of the key responsibilities of the club is to try and offer it's members a well rounded...

The new car.. Stanced thing again

PMSL, blushing like a motherfucker, either that or he'd been at hi mum's make-up to try and make himself look pretty. Interested to see what you do with this one, I can't believe the insurance was different enough on a 172 to make you want to change, they're normally pretty reasonable. What...

Bad Tuning & work shop work

Marc, feel free to post your screen shots on here. I have a few things I want to add to what people are saying though. Kyle, why are you not posting KTEC's name in the thread title? Or naming them in the opening post? Are you trying to get a refund etc? If so, entirely understandable, if...

    More advice on car bought

I wouldn't want to be paying either way, if it is the shaft, it's pretty damn likely this was damaged in the removal and fitting of a new box.

    Trackers

That's pretty much what I was saying. Take a 12v from under the cigarette lighter to under the dash top. Put iPhone behind the fuse box or similar over the side of the dash.

    The E46 M3 Vert

Really like it, but not the wheels. It makes it look like a standard sixer. Get them changed and you're onto a winner.
  27. Rob

    Trackers

Indeed they do. If you picked the network with the best UK coverage, you'd struggle to have no signal. It's a great method TBH.
  28. Rob

    Trackers

Buy an iPhone 3GS and a PAYG sim with £50 credit or whatever, enable find my iphone, run a charger from the cigarette lighter to wherever you want to hide the phone. Sorted.

    RDR's 182

I thought I saw a bit of 10-20 going on. Jealous.

    RDR does need Recaro's tbh.
