Mine did a weird noise on heavy acceleration in 1st,2nd and sometimes in 3rd. I took it in and told them what I probably was and they couldnt find any probs. Took it back a few weeks later and, surprisingly they replaced the engine mount and the gearbox bushes and it is now perfect!...Nobs! Chris

Get the Rsport m8....And fit it yourself. Its a piece of piss to do. Doesnt add much (if any) power but with other bits makes a difference. Chris

Ive never done a track day (yet!;)) but I would have thought there would be some benefit to reving the engine higher as when changing up your revs will drop staight back on cam. Dont flame me as Im not mechanic but it just seems logical to me Chris

It does sound like it has been chipped...if so the power is held quite well all the way to the limiter which is just short of 8k Chris
