Yep engine mount. Mine has gone several times. Really pissing me off now as I keep getting it fixed and literally a few days later it is knocking again! Group N from Rsport is £300+ which I dont think I ll stretch to.

There is definatley something wrong m8! On the way back it was acting v strange. Got to about 100 in 5th, just taking it easy came to a hill, tried to accelerate and it started missing like a b**ch. Did it again a bit later but then stopped doing it but still felt a little laggy. Going to get it...
Mine is pissing me around at the mo. Just turn the ignition on twice b4 locking. If it has worked youll hear a few beeps when arming the alarm and the interior sensors should be de-activated.

I get mine done locally at Top Gear (Burnley) but some other places have a rep for doing bad work. Mine is loud but I have got used to it. Might not be as bad on 172s as it has more sound deadning. Cant really describe the noise but Im pleased with it.

I would say that generally Magnex have a better reputation but Ive never had any problems with my Powerflow and I know that some people have had trouble with Magnex.
Chris
P>S> You can hear mine on Thursday m8. I think it sounds good but each to their own.
I had the same problem but it was the something to do with the engine mounts or gear box bushes? They sorted it out but it went again and has been fixed again recently.
Chris
Me too! Have heard nothing but good things about these. As for a difference on the 1/4 mile I would say yes. It will be a very small difference but every little bit counts. Ill see you next Thursday m8!
Chris
I might be biased here, but there is nowt wrong with the reliability with the GTT as long as you a) dont go silly with the engine. or b) if you do, make sure you do it properly, i.e uprated head gasket and any other bits that will need modding to take the power. I had mine for a year and it was...
I think thats the problem...if you arent on a nice flat surface (not many round here) then its supposed to be a handful. I think they look excellent but the real deal will be the Cosworth version thats on the way.
Chris
I have the Group N (Rsport ECU) and it doesnt add much power at all....but the difference when driving is noticable. Would recommend this to anyone at the price they are going for.
Chris
Naaa Itll be quicker than mine. Mine (going of my terminal speed) must be mid to high 14s 0-100. Would be interesting rolling start tho. If you were to get past the 0-60 speed, the rest might be quite close. Over 100/120 and it would be bye bye me!
Chris
Erm....I could stick with my m8s V6 very well with just a filter. I agree that the 225 is no slouch but standard it wouldnt be much faster ( unless you mod it but thats cheating lol)
