Temp sensor most likly starting to fail or the wiring shorting etc.
Might just be the cold temps but if its under warently get Renault to check/replace the sensor.
Rear ones do nothing regardless due to suspension design at the back.
Fornt ones are usuauly usless unless there a good strong design and bolted well or welded down.
Jack the car up and see if theres any play in the wheel bearing that will sort that out.
Most likly the pads need a bit of copper grease or there one of the cheap copy cat part which are rubish.
IMo stock disk from Halfords etc are more than good enough,.
As for pads well fdb845 ferrdo...
GDi or Yozzaspot might be interested i don't expect so though its a lot of work if any trouble exists.
Personaly go with the new 2.0 16V engine if you can get one for the pk4 box as the 1.9 use the rubish PK6 box,
But few of the cars are turbo so you have to compaiur what on sale and sold with full normal warenties not what could be done else you can easily argue that a 1.9 PD tdi can do 350hp.
Yep aux belt comes off to do the cambelt so chnaging its no effort and should be done regardless when its untensioned as it has to be to get the cambelt off.

Torque at the wheel well make it simplier HP at the wheel. A diesel will get about 75% of the power it makes at max power at 2k a petrol at that sort of rpm ie half max power rpm or driving round rpm woulnd't make...
Yep closes i can find is the cars below with the same hp used in the same cars.
1.4 VW Golf GT 1.4 turbo supercharged engine 167hp and there a 170hp TDI GOlf
1.6 16V 100hp Renault (as stuck in the Megan and the Clio etc) and the 100dci they have similar cc as well.
