with resonator, notice the box between the plenum and the expansion bottle without resonator, dont have the k&n anymore, will try and get a pic of standard airbox with the CAF, nothing much to look at tbh, just a big pipe from the side of the airbox to the panel by the battery to draw in...

its a resonator box, took mine of got some CAF piping from Venair, sounds much nicer now, especially with my k-tec stealth ;)

mine was turning over but not firing up, cleaned the TDC sensor and its been ok since.

so guessing its all ok now?

dunno if its been said, but what about just putting the 16v badges on it? i've got a mk2 ph1 with ph2 side strips and have 16v badges, think they look better than the 1.6 ones tbh.

that's my thinking too of one line of black all the way round to break it up.

i'm so glad you put that pic up, i need some front end stuff respraying, and i came to the conclusion to get the fog light surrounds, door handles and spoiler done too, and mine's the same colour as that, so it gives me an impression of what mine will look like, think the handles etc look really...

^^ cheers timmay, just couldn't decide what to do. think i'm going to colour code the spoiler handles and fog light surrounds to start with, then if i think it needs more i might get the bumpers and side strips sorted.

FM, when you say prep the sidestrips, you mean clean/sand to a smooth finish? if i wanted to do the handles too, would i need to take them completely apart to get at the sides of the bit that lifts?

hmm, any kind person fancy doing a photoshop on the top pic, colour coded then maybe just the handles, also want to repsray the wheels in a colour between silver and anthracite, e.g not as dark as anthracite but not as light as silver.

i was also thinking this could look pretty good, i'd like to get the handles and spoiler done, think it would be best of both, bit of colour coding, but still some black to break it up too.
