The shocks are valved so that bump and rebound rise at the same rate. Essentially you stiffen the shocks up and it corrects the damping it's self

If you have changed the belt and tensioned correctly then all you need to do to get the cam timing back is:
Lock the pulleys with the correct tool, undo the dephaser then rotate the cam back into place and re torgue the bolt.

I have just changed my cambelt ( not the dephaser) , I tensioned the belt up following the procedure of spinning it all loose to distribute the tension on the belt etc.
Anyway when I removed the horseshoe and turned the engine over and it didn't line up on the exhaust cam.

Lol the racer cage plates are quite easy because of the length of the legs, just the bloody rear ones now that its been welded.

Shocking picture but! that is a rough drawing of the rear arch with the cage welded to it - what i wondered if i could do would be the additions in red( the red sprays and weld) and obviously fill in the gap betweek the plate and the weld
