What equipment used makes no difference its knowedg of how to do it right which matters Often a small garage with cheap toolin can do a better job than a big garage doing them.
Only cheap £40ish.
Hopefully it will be.
I'll probably think of other things to add though. Then again got to finish the other buyers guides first.
I just hope they arn't made members only guides.

If you want more info on anything written here best do a search as I’ve tried not go into to much depth for fear of...
Most likly its the speedo sensor on the back of the gearbox has come loose just plug it in again or chnage the sensor etc. However if the car has abs powering the speedo then check the ABS system etc.
Electrical warning light need to get it plugged into a computer but might just be showing...
A remap won't get 10hp. The 182 extra power ins't just from a remap.
1.5k will get about 195hp on a 172 or 182.
You'll loose a load on any cr realy though. More you spend the more your lickly yo loose.
Err stock turbo won't make 400hp.
There a few ways round it.
1) use a full fat 172 front hub with an ABS ring on the driveshafts with the same amount of teeth as the speedio drive has (I've got the figures somehwere for how many teeth you need)
2) Stick an ABS system in there
3 one of those stand alone speedo stsems...
Only way to be sure is to take the wheel off.
How do you know you need rear shoes if you cannot take the whel off you'll have to take the rear wheela nd drum off to ensure you get the right shoes anyway.
Its not a fault its due to the ECU mapping for the emmisions rules.
RPM cannot be adjusted its part of the ECU only operation of PAS or air con or low barrery ups the rpm at idle.
Depends on the car and engine. 56mph was the best for the old gullwing merc SL as advertised in there manauls.
Computer is accurate as you'll get as it works form the ECU.
