The problem is that they only get the ring for half an hour at 7am in the morning, and that's the window they had to play with. The circuit was really greasy as it'd rained the night before. Would easily go around there quicker I reckon.
There's not really any point in touching the engine as you have to spend a lot of money to extract any horsepower out of the thing. The best way to invest your money is in suspension, braking and tyre components. Although to be honest, they are already brilliant out of the box.
Can you speak to players that are around you then? Does it get easier to get your head around the more you play it? i.e I died a load of times, and also had no idea what order to combine things to craft them. IT's actually quite difficult!

You can spec it to the ring car. The car is also delivered with the exact same suspension set up as was used to set the record at the ring as well.
