I had the exact same thing a while back. Drove it to Rentech and had it sorted. I was fine driving mine from West Sussex so you should be OK as you're just up the road.

Yup, that cambelt should have been changed 3 years ago - the dealer should do that before he sells it...it might be worth what he wants for it then! There's a bargaining point for you.

Power steering is around 7kgs all in I think. Plus, losing it adds about 7bhp at the flywheel, so it gives a useful bhp/ton gain.

I had a flat wheel originally with a spacer to bring it closer. Then I thought better of it, lost the spacer and bought a deep dished wheel instead. Doing it that way means the hard thing you don't want to be hitting with your head is another 50-60mm further back.

This is the speed-limiter override switch. You limit speed to 30mph, pull onto a 60mph speed limit and think "Oh f***!". Put your foot down hard and it cancels the speed limiter. You're still getting full WOT before the switch is pressed AFAIK.
