Don't just talk about it...get it booked!
I almost took the Cup home at lunch to swap it for the Ignis...didn't in the end but the Ignis will get an outing there before this season's finished.
What time were you there?
Value for money...2.5 miles of track, max of 10 cars, so thats...
I ran a set of 195 T1Rs on track for the first time this afternoon at Goodwood today. This was having spent the morning on a set of soft compound Yoko A032s.
The initial squirming from them was quite alarming, but once I'd got used to it, I could place the car accurately and was getting my 100...
Had a play with a Caterham R400 today in the roasting sun. Fantastic day, had the track pretty much to myself for the last two hours as most had buggered off for bank holiday things.
Considering its age I think the Cup's doing very well. I actually started to get annoyed today with people...
4 kgs if you include grab handles and sun visors.
Head unit and front speakers are 2 kgs, can't recall what the rears weigh as I lost mine so long ago.
Isn't he selling this car? If so, what does it matter to anyone on here what power it makes? No one is going to buy it, are they?
Email abuse achieves nothing except confirm his suspicions of the mentality and apparent age range of this forum.
So he comes across as a bit of a tool, but...
Mine's almost 12 inches at the sides I think...narrowing to about 8 or 9 in the middle due to the curvature of the screen.
Never had a problem with the five-0, but I do rip it off before each MOT, then put a nice fresh one on straight after. I think the fact that it's mat black helps as it...
I had the exact same thing a while back. Drove it to Rentech and had it sorted.
I was fine driving mine from West Sussex so you should be OK as you're just up the road.
I got the seemingly standard response from my local Skoda dealer this morning...
"You've got a Clio, right?".
LOL
Can't wait to fit it...mine's been without a splitter for 4 of its 8 years.
Yup, that cambelt should have been changed 3 years ago - the dealer should do that before he sells it...it might be worth what he wants for it then! There's a bargaining point for you.
If they were genuinely ripping the original manufacturer/designer off...they'd not be permitted to sell them surely? Are replica wheels illegal as in being counterfeit goods?
Looks very good, Handles Bedford well although the full 1km straight looked quite painful! How much was the 200 really on it? What have you done to the brakes and how did you find them? I'm really tempted to put mine around Goodwood this summer, but worry that it'll be a bit boring being such a...
LOL at the vid being boring. A back-to-back comparison of two cars running around the same circuit.
What exactly did you expect?
How could the vid be more exciting???
Very surprised at the V6 though! He seemed to be throwing it about like everyone says they can't be.
What's a ball park figure to put this right? Trying to decide if worth claiming on insurance.
Only seems to be cosmetic to the outer 'skin' as far as I can tell. Is it an easy fix?
I had a flat wheel originally with a spacer to bring it closer.
Then I thought better of it, lost the spacer and bought a deep dished wheel instead. Doing it that way means the hard thing you don't want to be hitting with your head is another 50-60mm further back.
I'm sure some will say NO! but personally, I would. I'm currently running some pads that came inside a used set of calipers I bought ages ago and have had no problem whatsoever.
This is the speed-limiter override switch.
You limit speed to 30mph, pull onto a 60mph speed limit and think "Oh f***!". Put your foot down hard and it cancels the speed limiter.
You're still getting full WOT before the switch is pressed AFAIK.
