Thanks guys
I did get some from a scrap yard about a year ago, refurbed them and spent about £50 in the end, then realised that the internal parts had broken and it wouldn't self level, was totally gutted and just gave up with the whole idea, ive just referbed these now, they've gown on me tbh
So the list:
Lowered on 40/40 Springs -the 3rd pic explains why I went no lower :)
Speedline Vega Wheels in BMW Graphite - from (Mk1 Clio Valver or Renault 19)
--- with TOYO Proxes T1R's - The grip is immense
Team Heko Wind Deflectors
Megane front splitter
Everything Refurbished or new on...
Hi, can someone tell me what this plug is for it was unplugged and noticed it dangling down, its connected to the brake pedal, is it for the lights or something. It's also worth mentioning I dont have abs
I got some from a scrap yard and the ended up being broken but the standard ones have grown on me tbh honest and I don't really mind them, the wheels Yer they remind me of the old mini lites when the centre caps arnt on
So I got a little bored of having white wheels it felt a bit chavy so I was looking for a colour that wasn't the standard old silver.
Found this its BMW Sparkling Graphite, looks like its got a purple fleck in it as well.
All in all really happy with them...
I'm pretty pleased with how these came out, love the colour its BMW sparkling graphite and looks like its got a hint of dark purple as a fleck. Love them :)
Give the car a rinse, then use tar remover only on the tarred bits no need to do the whole car or anything, then full wash to ensure it's all off, its strong and although it probably won't damage the paint its best to get it all off
THIS ^^ basically, if you think some of the prices are high, just get them, if you buy cheap stuff your just wasting your time and money, might as well skip the cheap stage and just get them. I spent so much money trying crap products.
Check that one of the double element bulbs hasnt blown one of the elements (usually the brake light element), this knocked all the light into doing different things, i.e brake lights coming on when i locked it
one changed bulb fixed everything.
if you take the arch liners out slightly under the front wheels towards the front of the door, theres a tutorial on here somewhere, you'll find like 15 years of shite in the sills :), this blocks the drains in the sunroof and makes them leak sometimes, worth a try :)
Could be a dodgy fuse, could be the connector that plugs into the back in the bulb clusters where its shorted slightly and melted two points together, these can be had at scrap yards.
Just a few thoughts :)
How far up and down? If its a lot could be spark plugs, coilpack and an endless amount of things, if its only little bit then its normal mine does it all the time.
Bought my 1.2 at 103,000 now on 125,500 2 years later, ive had problems but like everyone has said, things are so cheap on them that its viable to do it.
So I went for the 40/40 springs, fronts need a little more settling in time but the backs are just how i wanted them, i only wanted to fill the arch gap. I think it looks quite nice though. :)
