IIRC to manually lock the car without setting the alarm, sit in the passenger seat, press the lock button on the dash, then get out of the passenger door and lock the car using the key in the lock barrel.
Yep same thing happens to me every year despite being nearly 35, driving since i was 17 and never having to make a claim.
I insured last year through Privilege for £399 F/C.
I had a similar problem with a relative's internet connection, the adsl light on the modem was flashing constantly instead of staying a solid green, found one of the phones in the house was one of those fancy combined fax/email phones, unplugged it and everything was fine.
Be careful if you are swapping from BT to another ISP's 'up to 8mb' service as i am with Virgin.net on the 'up to 8mb' connection, during the daytime in the week i get a good 5.5mb - 6.0mb connection speed, but at weekends(peak time) my connection speed usually drops down to about 1mb, which is...
BT allow you to take off the lower half of the NTE-5 face plate as there is a 'test' socket to the bottom right, if you ever have problems with your phone line you are supposed to disconnect everything else and run a wired handset straight into that socket to test for a dial tone.
If you look...
Be careful if you are going to change the BT NTE-5 MASTER socket/faceplate as i think the only people who are allowed to change it are BT engineers and it is illegal for anyone else to change it, you face suspension/termination of BT service and/or a stiff fine if you do so
The Master line...
The only problem with the left hand drive version is the face plate you mount your phone holder to will then be angled slightly towards the passenger side of your vehicle and you may not be able to see the screen of your phone clearly.
I have just got a Sony Ericcson W850i and i have found it to be one of the easiest phones i have ever had to go through the menus and to make/receive calls and text.
I have the Brodit Pro Clip in my clio which i bought from Handnav for £15.99 delivered, then you can mount anything you like to it, i have a £2.97 universal mobile phone holder from Tesco attached to mine.
If you order one make sure you order the right one as they are handed for left and...
I recently upgraded my broadband with Virgin.net from 2mb to 'up to 8mb', a couple of days after the activation date i lost the dial tone on my telephone but my broadband was still working but slower than the 2mb i was on before.
BT found a problem with my line at the exchange and fixed that...
I have an RTI policy with click4gap, the premium was £163 for £10,000 shortfall over 3 years, if you go for it, read the small print as the cover will be invalid if you modify your car from standard, i phoned them up to clarify what their idea of modified is and they said anything that will...

There is only one antivirus scanner and firewall there, the others are checkers that do not run in the background and will not interfere with eachother, eg - Spybot S&D scans for more problems than Ad-Aware SE, if one scanner does not find anything then the other will.
Each of the non...
Are you being serious Darren?, the only programs that load up at boot time and run in the background are ZA, Avast 4 and Spyware Guard, the other programs are spyware checkers, my spare P2 laptop with 64 mb memory runs fine with that little lot running.
It may look a lot of AV/spyware...
Lol, ahh the days of messing with memory allocation to get a game to run, i eventually increased the memory to a whopping 4mb, then 'upgraded' to a 486DX2 66mhz processor for even more awesome computing power, what bugged me about ST 25th Anniversary was having to load it in off 9 FD's, then if...
I think the original 182 H/U is made by VDO, if it is this cd chager should work ok - http://www.vdodayton.com/default2_and_fz_menu=chm_604_mp3.aspx
Or why not get an ipod and the lead that plugs into the H/U CDC port, then put all your music onto the ipod.
Have you tried going into device manager and right clicking on the unrecognised PCI item and updating the driver or go into control panel and use the add hardware wizard and let windows search for a driver, it may still be there, also check the soundcard is seated properly.
If that fails you...
