Don't the DS2500's create more dust?, i think that's why some people go for the EBC, also i thought i read on here that the max discs wear the pads out quicker due to the grooves.

I would think they are fitted to cars with 4 pots is to keep more fluid between the valve and the caliper as the 4 piston calipers now need more fluid than the single standard caliper, meaning when you press the...
The thing that improved my brake pedal feel and reduced stopping distances was fitting goodridge braided hoses, i was very sceptical about them before fitting.
My brother has the brembo HC's and greenstuff on his 182, as he does not do a lot of miles his pads are taking an age to bed in...
For anyone who may be interested -
Front Damper - 8200514733 - £1,479
Front Damper - 8200514734 - £1,479
Rear Damper - 8200519954 - £121
I think that price for the rear damper is just for 1 and does not include springs.
Will the sachs front damper last longer than a normal damper...
Thanks, i had to be certain as i need to order 4 anthracite centre caps and you know how arsey renault dealers get about taking back wrongly ordered stuff.
Don't you have to enable the aux in function in the radio's menu aswell?.
Just had a look at that blaupunkt lead, if the wiring is in the wrong holes can't you move the pins so they are in the correct holes for the oem renault radio as per this thread -...
Do the Sparco mounts fit straight in without any modding as i am interested in some sparco recliners for my 182, just need to find somewhere that sells them so i can try them out.
Yeah thanks for that list Maz, i think i had a look through most of those threads which is where i got the 2 part numbers from, i was hoping someone with turini's could just whip a centre cap off and tell me what the part number is printed on the back.
Could someone with turini's whip off a centre cap and tell me the part number please as i need to order 4 from renault and they can not tell me what colour they are from the 2 part numbers i have given them, my car is not a trophy before anyone suggests giving them the vin number.

I am looking for some new front reclining seats to replace the standard 182 FF seats as i find myself sliding about in them (even with my fat ass) during some enthusiastic driving.
The obvious choice is the Recaro Trendline, when i tried the seats out before i felt they held my thighs/knees...
Yeah mate i agree with what you are saying about giving as much info as possible, if i was looking for a car of that age/mileage and someone made a point of saying the cambelt and water pump had been changed, it would probably be the first car i would go and have a look at as you would be pretty...
I migrated from Virgin.net to ADSL24 back in may, i only wish i had done sooner as the the ADSL BB from Virgin is shite in comparison.

I have had the gauge off the scale at the bottom, the light come on at about 30 miles range, driven then for another 15 miles or so, done the dash check thing and it said there was only 2-3 litres left in the tank which sounds about right, then driven very carefully to the petrol station and...
When i was looking for a 182, my brother and i ended up at this independant garage to have a look at an 05 plate racing blue 182(less than a year old), from the pictures the car looked spotless, i spoke to the sales manager and he said the car was perfect with no problems, so we went to see it...
Your asking price is £150 above the Parkers guide price and about £250 above the Wise Buyers guide, like you said you have gone in a little bit high but knowing you may get the price knocked down.
A quick search on autotrader brings up a 53 plate 1.2 16V Dynamique with 41,000 miles for £3k...
Get one of them cheap OBD2 readers off ebay that Fred Yozzasport recommends and switch the light off yourself.

That looks like coolant residue from either a hose or the housing, my brother had that housing replaced on his old 04 plate 182 under warranty because it was leaking coolant from it, the housing face could have been warped?.
If the clip is loose and that's why it is leaking you could try to crimp the clip to see if that stops the leak, but looking at the part of the clip where you would crimp the ends appear to be touching which would suggest it will not tighten up any more.
If the pipe underneath the clip is...
There will be a thin Renaultsport manual aswell, had things in it like tyre pressures for the RS models, when i got my 182 it was missing, so i scanned my brothers manual and saved it to my desktop, if you PM me your email address i will send you the pages, not sure how relevant it will be to a...
Well i don't know about the clio gearbox, but i remember gearboxes i had in older cars had no synchro on the reverse gear, so to get a smooth engagement you would have to select a forward gear to slow the gearbox shafts down then reverse gear would just slot in nicely.
