its got to be fairly worth it if only to make it easier to swap the decat for the proper converter when its MOT time. its a s**t of a job with the 172 manifold. last time i did it i had bloody knuckles.

it says in the owners manual that everytime you turn the ignition off and on again you have to switch the auto wipers back into auto mode for them to work.

it depends on the locking wheel nuts that are on as to how much of ball ache it will be getting them off with out the propper locking wheel nut remover. some of them you can hammer a socket over the top (18mm i think) and get them off like that. thats what i had to do when i couldnt find my...

OK then, i've given up looking for where to plug in the stupid connection and i've decided i'm going to cut and solder it in. can someone tell me exactly which wires i need to connect up. the ones that i've got from the alarm unit are; white, white/black, yellow, black, and red.

yeah mate. it was on a little clip right on the back of the glove box. im glad i've got the male connector right! so do you know where the female one is hiding?? lol, the manual that comes with it makes plugging it in look so easy!!

ok. this is my 3rd thread now. i've got the wires into the car behind the glove box but now, where do i plug in the main wire? i've found a spare female conection but it isnt the right size. where is the correct conection i need to plug the main wire into? these are the wires for the alarm...

can no one shed light on this??
