A lot of 172 are going to be around 100k as long as the belts have been done recently and there's no noise coming from the gearbox/ engine I wouldn't let that put you off mines just over 100k looks are runs better then some cars @50k

That was me lol there standard 172 cup wheels but still black I did wave but was a bit late lol

I used 2 different companys on my ford rs one was radtec and then proalloy and I would say proalloy was the best well made and I could feel the difference

It's not worth much, why not just get a used engine there's always some for sale on here make sure the belts are done and the strip yours down and sell it off for parts

Right so you would just block up the hole or leave it ?

So you saying when my gearbox went on my 172 cup I could of used a 182 ff with no issues ?

I'm sure it will fit but the speedo sensor wouldn't fit as there are 2 types of gearbox one is the older type which is in the ph1 and in the ph2 cup's as they have no ABS and the speedo sensor fits straight in there box there was a few 172 non cup that didn't have ABS but 182 did so the speedo...

And I would say 7/10 that's not on the site, should be a cs.net flyer on there windscreens lol
