Refute it again then? Get the garage to write another letter.
But I bet it's the outcome of hitting a pothole. It happened on my 197 and I thought WTF it's failed... Then I thought back and I'd hit an unavoidable pot hole (on coming cars) and it appeared after that.
LOL. I bought that one.
Actually, it was still fine. But I drove as far away from anyone else as I could to avoid any salt being kicked up. Hoping it doesn't rain so it can at least stay clean for a while. :)
I read them twice! Cleaned surface, rub with card, etc. Peeled the backing off and letters wouldn't budge. :dapprove: I managed the 197 one fine so isn't teh technique.
Fankies, Seb.
There's a switch on the lower section of the dash to the right of the steering wheel. That turns both the speed limiter and cruise control on (orange limiter, green is cruise control). Once it's on set your speed by pressing + or - buttons. To cancel it press O or push the brake. To resume press...
That's what I used to do with the 197. Mind something going in and ripping out the side wall doesn't sound like he could've driven much of a distance on it.

Yeah, when you drove it off the forecourt.
Thanks peeps. It's satisfying having it clean. But it's bloody cold out so the cleaning is a rare occurance.
Well I've finally been arsed to actually clean the car. The Black Grey was starting to get to me, so with an afternoon off I decided to do something useful and wash the shed mk2.
Looks lubberly when it's clean, but I think the previous owner has used a bloody Brillo pad to wash it at times...
Finicky, what can I say. I still don't have it yet mind. They're getting a visit tomorrow, LOL. :D
This guy sounds more unlucky with cars than me, but he's not helping himself.
This.
Probably. However, he'd probably still sell it to some PLC who'll then get stuck with it. I'd rather he was an active member on here so that when he does manage to babbage it he can be publically flogged.
Yep.
Take it back. It'd be the first thing I'd do. And I'd abandon the...
