No idea on that, and it's top woman! LOL. They look whitish in the pack. Try just searching for W5W in eBay?
All I keep finding are BlueVision ones by Philips.
They're 5W I think. W5W is the type. A Google might bring up types of bulbs.
EDIT: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PHILIPS-5w-SIDELIGHT-BULBS-RENAULT-CLIO-SPORT-172-182_W0QQitemZ310195428485QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=&rvr_id=&cguid=4f6872861250a0aad2573657ff30e420
These are the ones I was thinking of.
Oooft. 5 years it is then, unless you get to 70k before that Marv! That's lucky. I'm sure I looked through the service book and it said it had to be done. Jezza T ought to know his stuff.
If it's on 40k, your aux should've been done at 36k. Regardless of the fact that it's not 5 years old yet.
Most get to 5 years old before 72k so that's why a lot of 182 are getting changed together.
I'm pretty sure the manual suggests a change at 36k for aux on the 197.
I think a few of the dealers down south are linked up and share information. I know when I've looked for history Renault have said there's no central database. How odd. Roffle at the inconsistency.
Well it'll happen on all sports till it's warm... It's the nature of the car - or so Renault told me. If it's happening when it's been on a while it could be a fault. If it's a well reported problem then they'll probably do the same with an ECU upgrade.
TBH, get a look at the service book when you go. Renault don't keep a central database of all services on its vehicles, so you'd need to know where its services were carried out. I assume it has to have FRSH for them to offer extended warranty?
^ doesn't always disappear after a minute, it'll get better after a minute. It shouldn't do it at all after it's fully warmed up - say 10 minutes it'll be fully warm. But with the 197s the upgrade on the ECU helped.
Happened on the 197 too - kangeroo style, it tended to be when cold, but even throughout driving it sometimes happened. Renault did an ECU remap to try and get rid of it, but it occasionally still happened. Might be the same thing?
Oh and BTW, the clunking in 3rd might happen at low revs (sometimes it used to stick a bit) but it's usually when you change at around 5k upwards. I moaned at Renault for ages and they said they couldn't find the fault, until I showed them by taking one of the mechanics for a ride out. Then...
Some other people have had issues with the wipers having a chunk missing out of them. Mine didn't but I know some have. Just basically toothcomb it, despite it being a relatively new car, it won't be without faults - it might not be as severe as the need for a new gear box but hopefully it'd...
Check for the known faults. Especially 3rd gear clunking and alloy bubbling, but I guess it's out of warranty now so they wouldn't fix those.
Front bumper under the passenger side light often comes free too, so check the clip hasn't snapped. Door seals also tend to rip and crack too.
Ring a dealer with those product codes, Leeroy, and ask for a price? It might be equally as cheap to buy new as to buy off someone on here. Plus, then you know they won't be bent or damaged.
Well it's on a 55 plate. Flame red was on the 172, which was mainly registered on 51-04 plates. Therefore, it's possible it sat unregistered till 55 - but I very much doubt it, therefore it'll be a non-sport on that second link.
Pearl black? Not black gold? :S
I'd think it'll need sanding back. I doubt the paintwork as is will be suitable to respray directly on to.
Wet and dry will do the job. You'll need to start aggressive gradually going down to a fine paper. Halfrauds sell it cheap enough.
Are you respraying...
