Cheers. Its not for me its for a mate. What does a rattling dephaser sound like?
Depends how 'not Renault' the belts are I suppose. Lemonnobby1 did mine and its been fine :). Didn't do this one too did you?
Anyone got any history on the Monaco Phase 2?
Massively impressed with the DS2500's on mine, although they do generate a significant amount of heat.
How much will you be using the car on the road? I have Federal RS-Rs on and they are fine on everything but standing water on the road, and great on track.
A rear ARB will do a lot to reduce...
I quite like that.
Yes its AutoExpress so is delivered with a truck of salt, but they seem to have the general shape of the front end the same as the camo test car.
Good choice.
I've done 2 track days on my RS-Rs and they have hardly lost any tread. The outside edge is obviously wearing more than the inside, but I will get them swapped left to right after the next day.
It was simply the cost that swung me. I got them for £65 a corner, which is silly...
Having a write off on record does not equal a 'dark secret'. Especially a C or D.
Typical newspaper BS. But then "88% of cars have a HPI report that isn't blank" isn't such a catchy headline...
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
The FoS is not the kind of place where a manufacturer would show off its shopping car.
If Renault are showing something, it will likely be the Alpine.
I went from standard 172 shocks and springs to Cup shocks and Eibach Sportlines, and the ride is now tediously uncomfortable on normal roads. It jiggles and crashes over bumps, and those concrete motorways where its laid in slabs with a join every few meters are horrible.
But on track its a...
IIRC the OZ standard bore is 75mm.
I gave the OZ distributor the reference on the wheel and the centre bore I needed (60.1mm) and they ordered the part for me.
OZ wheels don't use 'normal' spigot rings, they require proprietry OZ only rings that, unless you can find a set on eBay, you have to buy from OZ direct. The set I bought were from Italy and cost over £60 as they come as part of a 'fitting kit' which includes 4 rings and 20 wheel bolts, so cost...
The difference between RS-Rs and R888's in terms of performance on track is much smaller than the difference in terms of price. MyTyres currently have 195/50/15s at £66 delivered.
For value for money I think they are unbeatable.
Well, one of my rear shocks is failing after just 14 months and 7,000 miles!
So I'm looking to buy a set of cup rears. Can anyone confirm the part number of CUP rear shocks and also the colour of the sticker on them? Also, somewhere that I can buy them from where they don't think all rears are...
Evening guys.
Just thought I would pop in to thank the ClioSport Driving School for their advice ;)
Did Rockingham yesterday and focused on not driving like a noob, and my understeer has all gone :D. I've fitted a smaller (330mm) steering wheel which has made the steering heavier. This has...
Thread revival because.... It's happened again!
They have only lasted 7,000 miles! Surely that's not right?! The same corner again! And I've got a trackday on Saturday! :(
If you don't look after them, yes. I did mine about 18 months ago and they are back to being just as bad now.
Its a lot of work if you don't have a rotary polisher or something.
There was about 5 Kindles bought throughout my family at Christmas in a mix of 3G Keyboad, Wifi Keyboard, and the new base one.
The newest base one is by far the best simply because it is significanly smaller and lighter than the keyboard versions. You can add a nice fitting case to it and it...
