Think i paid £35ish last time i used it, but very good oil, made a world of difference.

The LY still holds its value, if you can get proof of it selling for £6.5k+ then it should be repairable, my crash was minor damage but needed 2.5k putting into it. Maybe get a couple bits like the rad and lights second hand to bring down the repair cost.

I'd still love an fd, but as an everyday car i think the petrol would cripple me, still 100 miles a week shouldn't cost me too much?

My mum has the same car, colour and all. I hated driving it, clutch was too light, accelerator pedal had no feel, driving position too high.... it goes on lol. It's a nice colour though.

The bubs are cheapest on ebay, however come from hong kong most of the time, so deliveries can be a while and warranties can be hassle. As for the sidelights i disconnected the plug on mine, makes for a better look.

So if you loose the spare wheel and tool kit in the ph1 and your not that far off.

I certainly don't, must have been an expensive option.

Either mod a 182 cat to fit or find a friendly mot tester who is partial to the odd drink;)

That top tensioner looks old and dirty in those vids, i bet they only did the belt. Changing my kit next week as i have a squeak from one of them.
