a less credible company will offer it less no doubt but just to compare, when i was 20, with no no claims, 6 months driving with a pass pluss my quote for a corsa GLS was £2400/1800 TPFT and thats only a 1.4 8v. They wanted £1700 for a corsa LS (1.2 8v) fully comp or 1400 TPFT and a Corsa merrit...
i have removed an external decal from my window and its now scratched :( but It looks like ive got glue left behind from it and i can see it when the car mists up. How the hell do you get this crap off? Ive tried fairy liquid, turtlewax window polish, car window spray sh*t, using a hair dryer...
lesson to be learned. If one garage cant solve it within 2 attempts, take it to another dealer close by that hopefully has more of a clue. Go around to Heards and get the management out and play hell with them - youll probably get your next service free or something.
you can get aircon and sunroof put these are options and it depends on if the previous owner has bought them. The seats are a bit firmer than the lower models but you get some 15" alloys, a spoiler and fog lights which isnt on a standard clio. The 1.2 suspension is standard i think, it was only...
its just a con to get an extra 300 quid out of you, knowing full well that there is only less than a handfull of colours that are non-metalic. If you want gold badges, they get a hair dryer, take them off and spray them gold...simple.
Ive only got silver door handles on the interior that is really a mod but i want to colour code all the plastic trim - bumper tops and bottoms, side strips, door handles and spoiler.. how much extra will this be? A guy at work says he wouldnt bother telling them because they are existing parts.
looks an easy one to get off but you can get a replacement if you have the code. looks like you need a tool with a + shaped end, perhaps on a drill or wrench.
I find that optimax does sod all for performance or MPG but does make your engine run a hell of a lot smoother - changing up and down gear and smoother accleration instead of it being jerky. BP superunleaded seems to last longer I found when i had the 1.2 8v but i dont know if this is still the...
Does it pull to your left? Ive had this before. It was because one of the suspension springs were tighter than the other which causes more friction on one side of the car, so when you brake you cause even more friction on the road and it pulls. Perhaps one of them is cracked or has moved out of...
I told them i wanted GAP free with my car as I have paid them enough,so i thats what happened. I just said I had another deal with dixons and they would give me free gap. It is worth it if your accident prone but at least youll get all your money back. They will add it to your finance so it...
yeah they are a bit fragile and a real tw*t to put back in. Should cost less than a fiver. Just get a new switch to be on the safe side and a new rubber seal.
they dont seem to do part exs which means youll have to get rid of yours private first. Good prices but ive had offers like these from dixons and motorpoint... just got to play a bit of a game with them.
Play f**king hell with them. Get out the highest possible manager in the building out - there is always one because they have to approve most new car sales. If they have damaged your electrics, then that would obviously point to carelessness. You need to be firm with them and if they ask you to...
Can reno actually repair the bloody sunroof or what? Ive had it looked at 3 times and its going in next week while I wait. All they seem to do it but pink grease on it and a piece of cellotape acros the bar on the handle...very useful. I wish i got the electric one now...
check that the wire hasnt come off from the switch or that any wires have come off because if they touch the car body then they earth it and set the alarm off. Also could be a faulty earth.
open your bonnet and shut it again...could be the push switch under there playing up - you may want to put some wd40 on it and push it in a few times to losen it up.
Is it only when you have it on full lock or is it when the wheel spins round and it gets to a certain point and makes a clicking noise? I though it was the wheel bearing but I never found out. The passenger side seat has a problem with the rail that it slides on - youll have to take it into reno.
do you hear a ticking noise from the starter motor? Was a dead battery and there is a cable going to the solenoid with a clip on it that sometimes gets full of crap and cant make a good connection - enough to turn over the starter motor on my old clio.
I wouldnt bother. you can get a mk2 52 plate for 10k...isnt worth it, plus the number of owners will devalue it and also for piece of mind because it could have been in an accident.
try car people too, they have a few in. Ive seen a 172 and a cup race and theres nothing in it...it was just like cat and mouse. youd have to be going in a straight line to make a big distance from the 172. Id probably get a 172 with cup wheels or a 182 if I could insure the damn thing.
