did you ask to watch proof? ie. play a video tape back to you? they cant do jack sh*t without proof? the problem is, you signed the f**king thing. you should have said that you need a legal proffession to check it over. Personally I would sign it micky mouse so without your signiature, agian...
it doesnt really have to be electrical tape either! lol. Cellotape, ducktape, parcel tape - all does the same job really. your suppose to use the colour tape closest to the wire colour but black tape is slightly cheaper.
yes looks brilliant - official reno paint. What you do is put a little bit on with the brush, wet your finger and run it across the area with the chip. This smooths out the paint and stops the naff bubble up effect. you then use some METALIC t-cut which will remove the excess paint from the rest...
I wish i had seen your post earlier fred! i wouild have done just that! I was tempted to get all the bits from the scrap yard cos a lad at work said he would help me rebuild it. Yeah the hub seemed to be very solid. Well its gone in today and i am paying for the new tyre for safety reasons. I...
yeah, i got one too on mine when it was 2 weeks old. was well pissed off and went down to reno to complain about the paint being too thin but they just said that thats the way its done now - they put more coats under the colour to make sure they meet the 5 years paint warrenty, but why the hell...
sorry to hear this. I crashed my dynamique on thursday  also on a corner... i blame the w**k contis.
Bumper>> just comes with primer on it (white)
alarm>> just pull the wire out of the switch under the bonnet and insulate it with some black electrical tape - must not touch...
alarms are optional but not as standard, as are electric sunroofs and aircon. You get 4 renault locking wheel nuts that are hidden behind the center cap, which also requires a simple seperate tool to remove. Yes it does have a immobiliser but i think its only cat2. You can get manufactures...
oh god! another ice casulty! It was just pure sheet ice then I went around a corner and my dyno hit the kerb and wheel smashed, tyre is weak and the suspensions trashed, costing me £820...and thats at 10-15mph so I think your lucky to get that amount of damage. Went into the bodyshop today and...
tip for ya. Add your mum onto your insurance even if she doesnt drive your car and watch it fall. Women get 30% off and also if there is someone else declaired as driving your car, then the probability of you yourself smashing the car within the set milage is reduced.
they are not illegal but they can do you if your car fails the emissions test without a cat as im sure its been said a million times before. You might be able to get away with a 1.2 for something small but theres no chance of getting a 1.8 down so it would be illegal. you could however put a...
I know but I can only drive it for short distances cos it rubs on the arches. Do the tyres really cost that? Should i just get them to deflate the spare tyre and whack that on and get a value tyre for the spare? A scrap yard offered an alloy for £82.25 inc vat and del. which is only £23 less...
well if he wants it so bad and he is genuine, then hell either have to get this import guy to pay you or get his fat american ass into the uk. Seems a bit weird why and american would want a right-hand drive car, plus the gears are different. Must be a scam.
sometimes i wonder why we bother paying insurance when all we do is pay for it ourselves. Maybe they should have a new policy called, write-off or theft.
Thats what a lad at work does. hes got a 200quid fessy 1.1pop on about £500 insurance. He rammed it into a post while pissing about...
tell him to send his uk contact with the money in pound notes and re-inburse his uk contact as you only accept UK bankers drafts and pound notes sterling.
I wouldnt take your clio out either esp if it has friggin contis on.
without the pointless tyre cos mine isnt damaged and hopefully without them two parts, I work it out as £488.64 inc. VAT. Expensive skid! AND ive got to pay my insurance today and i paid my road tax yesturday. Im gonna be...
oh, sh*t! what should i do? just been given a quote for £821.23 but there is two parts worth £200 that it might not need. the robbing c**ts tried it on with a bloody tyre at 78.05 (91.71) and they can feck off.
right, the low down:
alloy wheel £90
Front Suspension hub: 141.00 (possibly...
