It is adjustable mate - I think if it does rust then I can easily take it out now as the bits that have been welded are actually welded to ther car and then the cage is bolted to that.
Only issues at the minute is that it is even harder to get out of now lol!!
PIcking car up tonight with it fitted hehe!
Quick question - Anyone reccommend how to paint it lol - I got them to fit it before I painted because if it hadn't of fitted I wouldn't have been able to send it back to italy painted.
Guess I will have to paint it using a brush - Or will it not...
Anyone know where I can buy the l brackets from, or something to allow me to connect my changer to the car - No I don't have the original brackets as they went when I sold the old car doh!
Kind of looks like that but there is a cross strut and two other struts too that aren't even attached that I think are suppossed to go down either side of where the driver and passenger sits!!
Got mine today - Woohoo - Although thought I would be able to fit it myself but a) there are no intructions and b) there is just poles everywhere think welding is needed etc..
Anyone bought an OMP one before?? Pics?
LOL - I know I have to ijnore it but it sounds so bad I keep thinking I have left the boot open - TOMALLEN I think your way is sounding good but don't remember seeing those rubber bits (wasn't really looking though) will check them out at the weekend - Roll cage arrives on the 15th woohoo
Ok guys just wondered if there is a way of making my boot stop rattling/squeeking - My car is stripped out so very easy to hear - can I make it lock tighter or anything??
WOW!! That is amazing - I think I am winning on my interior (well, will do when my roll cage arrives) But WOW! That is absolutely gorgeous, Want mine to end up looking like that for sure, And the brakes, oooooohh Lovely..
Yeah am going to get a w800i on Monday - I have tried using the D600 for the last 2 days and it is shockingly bad - loss of signal in places I would usually have. You can only send text messages to the first number you have for people - if you make a spelling mistake in a txt message you can't...
Which is the better phone to get guys or even a different model.
I have had a Sony Ericcsson V800 and have now got a Samsung D600 - Ok the camera is better but it doesn't do anywhere near as many things so am probably gonna take it back..
Yeah this isn't a powerflow one - it is a longlife equivalent I think - he mentioned the stainless steel was the same grade they use - Think the powerflow ones are cheaper because the grade of stainless steel is less - not saying they are bad at all though!!
Well on my 172 I had a local guy from a stainless steel maunafucturer build me an exhaust on the car that was straight through manifold back (not including manifold) may get him to do it again as it was awesome quality - Would like to see some flames again - Bloody loud though lol
how about getting a hand made jobby - I have had mates that had problems with the mounts with the k-tec ones because they are quite heavy. And the scorpion one I had never quite fitted properly.
Ok guys I know I have spend copious amounts on the valver so far since mmm 3 weeks ago lol - £1900 so far oh plus the £500 bill I just got for the new front end, wichbones suspensions mounts brakes etc (yes am gutted) - Now the next step before the meg 225 engine conversion LOL is a straight...
Oh and my roll cage is being build but will soon be finished and have left a deposit so can't back for a month or too - So when that arrives in a week or two that will cost shed loads too - woohoo just in time for christmas.. bugger!!
Mine does too - I don't know. I turn up to work this morning at 8am and am told I need to set up the new Altiris system and migrate all the existing data onto the new SAN appliances - Get to the garage at 6pm and am hit with more work that needs to be done to make it safe (tell the guy, yeah...
What a bloody pain it is. When you buy a used car and all is well, the seller tells you it has new brakes etc and the new thing you know you need new wishbones, new ball joints, new pads, new bump stops etc etc..... ggrrrrrr
Can't though matey - Live in Westminster and the car is parked on the main road - No driveways in Westminster - Could find a garage but would cost me about £1500 a month to rent it lol!
Thank you matey, however I didn't word my post very well I'm sorry. I meant the dials in the middle, the ones for oil level, oil temp and pressure - sorry
