i never waste my time tryin to convert avi's,divx etc, the amount of time it takes to convert and the loss of quality makes it completely not worth it imo i just stick to downloading dvdr's

if your managing to download that much with newgroups then its time i got my arse into gear and started using them instead of torrent, it would take me 8000 days to download that much at 20/sec with the good ol pipex!
