Just a quick overview above.....
If you like your toys, the standard 182 with both cup packs is for you and having anything else is a bonus options.
Having Recaros will mean that the rear bench is then a cloth seat.
Standard 182
+ Cup Suspension
+ Cup Spoiler Pack
This is a great combo, the most common out there. (Try and get with both packs)
182 Trophy
Only came in Red.
Has Recaro seats and Turinis.
No Xenons, no climate(?) and a few other bits and bobs.
Wicked suspension, but costly when they go wrong...
Yes.
Basicly once its used to flash a car, it becomes "locked".
Then you need to get it "unlocked".
So yes, double unlock charges for you doing it that way.
Best checking with Henk on this.
Could work out costly if you need to flash another file onto a car that you have done already.
btw, the previous car it was locked too wont work after a license change over.

Tis a good idea till your starter or ballast/ xenon starts playing up !!
Xenons do suffer damage after continued on/off motions - due to high starting voltages.
My old 1.2 16v got 86.3bhp @ AMD Technik RRday a few years back.
I know Fred also saw around the same with his 1.2.
Mine had
ITG Custom Carbon Box
Hayward & Scott Complete System
Was a nippy lil thing, got better as the miles were added on! after 60k it opens up if treated well :D
Yup they are the rubbers i was telling you about. Crap design.
Yes coil pack is attatched to the HT leads.
Retail the set is about £58+VAT, unless prices have changed a lot.
I wouldnt get renault to change it! I wouldnt be suprised if they charged for 1 or 2 hours labour, which is silly.
Its...
Aye, they are deep.
Its just a very narrow tool with the spark plug attatchment. Handy for a mechanic, but for a one off u dont need to get one unless ur currenty kit dont fit!
All good fun :D
Yep should be fine. It is a tight space...
This is the laser varient which is available.

Other then that yer no probs apart from the rubbers possibly...
Should encounter no problems.
The 1.2 16v uses a very slim 14mm iirc "Euro Socket" to get to the plugs.
I have seen a coupler dotted in Halfords made by Laser tools.
Other then that no different to any other car.
Oh, you may have issue with the HT lead rubbers. They become loose from the lead...
Doubt it makes any noise reduction.
And yes, it will soak up most leaks.....its the downside of having it on. It will collect in there till it spills over/leaks before you know you have a leak from somewhere.
On my old motor i got some heat proof stuff from HobbyCraft... was in the "bin" section lol.
Cost me £2
Glued it down after cutting it to shape, was still there till i sold the car. The standard stuff tears away so easily.

By doing so could lead to someones policy potentially be invalidated.

No worries mate.
Yes the 172 & 182 lights are the same bar the colour of the insert around the light.
The 172s had a darkish black surround and the 182s came with a mid grey colour. there is also a very light grey surround (not many about, but have cropped past them a few times). That is the...
Yup as said straight swap.
No real issues with them, as a technicality they require auto-levelling and washer jets but i dont recall anyone having issues with this come MOT time.
Just make sure you check the lights are not damaged when you buy them.
Dont be tempted by the HID kits as they...
Its the carbon canister just behind the headlamp.
When i had issues with my 1.2, it would stall/not run properly and when it cut out the carbon canister would be going mental ticking.
Stick your head by the drivers side headlamp, you will hear it clearly.
Sounds like you have...
